A serial killer is in an Ohio small town killing women. What do they women have in common? They all decided to cancel their abortion. The ending left me with a question. I can't say what it is bc I would ruin the book. That question dropped the book a star. Warning: Graphic Abortion Info. 4⭐️

Sophie Weston is at an engagement party when the groom to be dies. Soon she's called to his lawyers office and told she has inherited his antique business. No one is more surprised than her. His daughter and ex wife think she was having an affair with him. Can Sophie find out why he left her the business before something happens to someone else? I enjoyed this cozy mystery in the Domestic Diva Series.

This just did not flow as well Ehrenreich's other books. Her attempt to show death's inevitability, and explain why it's not in our nature to accept it nearly bored me to death. But I did get two bingos!

While this is the first book I have read in the Rev. Clare Ferguson/Russ Van Alstyne mystery series, I wasn't lost. I was lucky enough to get to read this early through Netgalley. I can tell you that even though this was the 10th book in the series, they don't have to be read in order.

Spencer-Fleming storytelling level is great. I was captivate at the first chapter. It's full of suspense and thrills. I felt like I knew who the ⬇️

MonicaLoves2Read characters were by the end of the book. I think the subject matter is very present with all the hate that is going on in America, as well. I now need to go back and read the others in this series🤪

This book was so much fun!

A medieval retelling of Legally Blonde was something I never knew I needed! I‘m a huge Legally Blonde fan but I never realized that it could be retold in such a unique way. As a retelling, it worked very well. The original characters were translated very well. Clía, the female lead, definitely gave Elle Woods vibes.

There's so darn much on the go already this month, and it seems that isn't going to change anytime soon, but I did get a decent amount of reading in, so at least there's that

Solzhenitsyn effectively described the prison and work camp system that incarcerated millions of Russians to suppress the population and obtain free labor. He covers arrest and interrogation, initial imprisonment, the brutality of camp life, various escape attempts, the addition of women and children, and release and exile. The abridged version has plenty of information on the subject (21 hours vs 60+ listening hours for the 3 volume series)

JoeMo I couldn‘t help but compare this to Man‘s Search for Meaning. This didn‘t affect me as much as Frankl‘s work. However that may be more due to the fact I read that book 25 years ago when I was young and naive. I‘m much more aware of the pain and suffering humanity inflicts upon itself from learning about the world and its history and also through work and life experiences. #bookspinbingo (edited) 3d
