Clare-Dragonfly They are all so mean! I wish it had occurred to Tom to mention that he‘s good at drawing, especially things like buildings. I bet that could get him a good start. 2d

TheAromaofBooks @Bookwormjillk - I felt the same way! I get that you don't want to hand a pile of money to people who have proven that they aren't going to use it wisely, but Tom is genuinely trying to make good and start providing for his mom and sister, and I thought it was dreadful the way his uncle just blew him off. 2d
ElizaMarie This chapter felt very current to me. It's like kiddos get an education and then can't get a job with their education. I know it's not the same, but it got me thinking about how some college courses/majors do not translate to the working world. I feel so bad for Tom - also this #TheirFamilySucks ! 1d
