This book takes place over an entire year, so technically there is snowy setting. 🥶❄️ but seriously, there is a portion that takes place in winter where Mikael is snowed in his cabin.

I love Sarah Morgan and this book didn‘t disappoint. A wonderful cast of characters and setting. A Scottish family coming together for Christmas, each with their own worries & plans. The grandmother is hilarious. My favorite read so far this month.

This one was perfect for my #TBRtarot pick this month but it was not good. I got excited by the premise of Finnish mythology but I just could not get myself to care about these characters. Lots of plot holes and I was just bored. Can‘t win them all I guess. 🤷🏼‍♀️⭐️⭐️

Fun story of retired spies who get drawn back into the game when a dead body is dumped on one's driveway.

Enjoyable characters, twisty plot, nicely written.

This was TERRIFYING!! The narrator did such a good job at keeping the tension taut and the fear at the forefront. The concept of someone basically mimicking the voices of people you know - or yourself! - really just gets under my skin. Ending was a little 🤷🏼‍♀️ but still liked it overall. This also fits the #tbrtarot for January!
