The story of #mylitsyavatar and my #profilepic is pretty simple. I love pirates. It started when Errol Flynn and his swashbuckling ways enchanted me when I was a wee lass of 4 or 5 (See also Robin Hood). And my name is Jennifer. Then there‘s the song “Pirate Jenny” from Threepenny Opera. I use the name whenever I can. The pic is from a pirate birthday party of the daughter of some friends a few years ago. I‘m not Aunt Jen to her; I‘m Pirate Jenny

@Chelleo this was a great idea! Here‘s my #LitsyAvatar and #ProfilePic. Pic was a gathering I hosted when my friend‘s father was interviewed by Dan Rather. We are toasting him in the photo and I like how joyful I felt. I have been using Zelma since I started posting online years ago. It was my great-aunt‘s name and I think it‘s badass. Knew I wasn‘t having kids and a pet namesake seemed inappropriate so I adopted it for my online persona.

Need a new av. One that's visible but I do love Bear. Seniors are the best! 4 lb seniors are even better. "Look, Ma! No teeth!"
