Love the Flavia di Stefano and Jonathan Argyle books by Iain Pears, the are lighter than his historical novels and always fun.

My #BookSpin book is a #BookToScreen book :) I had barely started watching the Hallmark versions of these books. They are pretty cute! 📺
In the books, I am not crazy about the love interest though. Its like I want to keep going on the series, but their relationship irks me.

Picked this up during the long (by British standards) car ride to Wales for my grandmother's funeral, and it definitely kept me occupied. I couldn't quite keep some of the characters straight, but it felt surprisingly like something that someone might write now, parodying the SF pulp era. Surprising small love: the (male) detective being very involved with his wife and child.
This was the #DoubleSpin! And this month's #BookSpinBingo card is made!
I love Poirot. I loved the mystery. I loathed all the other characters. Wednesday, my reading buddy, pictured, enjoyed Sunday reading cuddles.
So sad. One of my most favourite Aussie Authors. Tagged book, one of my favourites in her series about a baker.

Lord Peter Wimsey book 6. Very good! I think Miss Climpson and Miss Murcheson deserve the credit for solving this one - they did all the work! I wish Sayers had written a spinoff series about Miss Climpson and the “Cattery.“
This was a #NotForMe book. I usually like animals talking and their antics, but this time I don't know. I guess maybe because it wasn't “book 1“ that I didn't get too into it? Oh well. #ThematicCozies @JulieClair
