Baking ham & cheese sliders for a work party while also attempting to get my reading in this morning. Wad able to get a few pages in before it was time to get ready for work. Love the very Agatha Chrisitie-like writing in this novel. I'm wondering how the title fits into this story.

A Concise History of Modern Painting | Herbert Read

Today‘s scores from the Little Free Library on the way to my 3 hrs of ballet. It‘s going to be a lovely day. It‘s warm already. On my walk home I‘ll visit another book swap. Then I have nothing to do for the rest of the weekend but I will grab a chai, go to the beach, drink champagne in my pjs and cook up a storm ready for more work lunches and ballet dinners. I suppose I best do a bit of housework too 😢 eg change the sheets.

Faranae Apparently I failed to tag correctly to join in June, but I'll do better for July. I think I know my book, now I just need to match a song. One of the protagonists writes for Village Voice in the 1970s, so the field is wide open with some pretty good tracks. 😁 1y
