Lynch on Lynch, Revised Edition | David Lynch, Chris Rodley
post image

David Lynch has passed away at the age of 78. I know his movies weren't to everyone's taste, but I loved Blue Velvet, Mulholland Drive and even his version of Dune. I remember being totally obsessed with Twin Peaks, until it all fell apart.

RowReads1 RIP! Twin Peaks rules! 3d
The_Book_Ninja His Dune is a masterpiece 3d
JessClark78 I heard this a little while ago. Broke my heart. I love Twin Peaks and his films. One of my all time favorite directors. 💔 3d

RamsFan1963 @The_Book_Ninja I loved the original theatrical version of Dune, but I didn't care for the bloated 3+ hours version that they showed on TV 3d

Book Bracket Update!!! 🏅
I am as of yet undecided on my book of the year… 🤔😫
-How to Solve Your Own Murder by Kristin Perrin
And
-The Book of Doors by Garett Brown
were both such captivating reads this year! I‘m tempted to call it a tie, but I‘ll let it simmer a little longer since the Book of Doors is so fresh in my memory to truly decide!😌

maraguitarra Thanks @Catsandbooks for the template! 1mo

Mehso-so

Parts of it were very good but so much full of self pity or focused on needless details. Sort of hard to get through. He had a kind of harsh loveless childhood. Probably why he married 5 times. I still like most of his films. He did have a genius.

I began a memoir from a great Swedish director. Looks like his childhood was kind of rough.

bibliothecarivs I read this for the first time two years ago and quite enjoyed it. 4mo

I‘m posting one book a day from my massive collection. No description, no reason for why I want to read it (some I‘ve had so long I don‘t even remember why!). Feel free to join in!
