This week we celebrate the best in the books we read in the past year. It's time for the Book Oscars!! We debate fun categories such as best villain and best scene before announcing the winners for best book, best character, and best author. We love doing this episode!

Also, if you like upcoming book news we have a bit of that in the beginning. Thanks for listening and enjoy!

I can't possibly pick favorites from this list. So random thoughts, instead:

🩵 Up is my favorite movie ever. It warms my icy heart. I cry 3 times during it to this day.
🩵 Philip Seymour Hoffman was one of my favorite actors. I'm so sad he died so young.
🩵 When Pulp Fiction came out, our local art theatre showed it during their Oscar series, and a bunch of elderly ladies who were regulars walked out in disgust. 🤣🫠

dabbe I gulp-sob snot out of my nose every time I watch the opening of UP! 😭 Thanks for playing and sharing. 🩵💙🩵 3w
dabbe Fab score, too! 🤩🤩🤩 3w
lil1inblue @dabbe Yeah, the opening scene is definitely an ugly cry for me, too. 😭 And the score is because the era covers my high school years, when I had a crush on a boy who wanted to become Stanley Kubrick. 😂 He broke my teenaged heart, but he also introduced me to so many good films! 😉 3w
dabbe @lil1inblue At least one good thing came out of it! 🤗 3w
