pickOnce again Nora Roberts hits every aspect of a great beginning… all the spooky and atmospheric representations of a haunting with aspects of time travel, mirror/mirror, and questionable deaths… I am now immediately reading “The Mirror” I‘m happy I waited… but wish all the books were out because the way this ended I would have cried it such a great way to start the next book
pick3.5⭐️. I thought this was a little bit crackers but entertaining. The ghosts are somewhat OTT, quite in your face, so I didn‘t find them particularly credible, not that I believe in ghosts really! I wouldn‘t mind the one who does the housework, though. Very handy. It ends on very much a cliffhanger, almost as if a chapter is missing. I will probably read book two, The Mirror, but I‘m not desperate to go out and buy it at the moment.
It‘s a long time since I read a Nora Roberts book! It sounds fun read.

This one didn‘t suck me in like Roberts‘ other books but it was fine. The cliffhanger ending has me eagerly waiting for #2.
so-soSonya was okay but a bit too perfect to my taste, that made her even feel a bit tasteless/dull. I liked her friend Chloe and adored their friendship.
I would have preferred a bit more mysterious atmosphere, this was more about Sonya's everyday life than revealing old secrets. I still loved the setting.
I don't like cliffhanger endings and after all these pages that was what I got. This still was a decent book.

pickI love Nora Robert‘s 📚!! Enjoyed her interview on “Sunday Morning”! (You can find it on YouTube) It really ties in with Nora‘s introduction to Inheritance!! Can‘t stop listening!!! Deception, heart break, new discoveries of family tree, thrown in with an old haunted house! You just have to love Nora‘s ability to weave a fantastic story!
pickI binged this in a sitting and a half 😄. The character development isn't super great, and there was something weird about the paragraph formatting that confused me, but I love NR. She tells a good story. And omg do I NEED the library she describes in this book! Can't wait for the next one.
