pickI wouldn't have known about this book if it weren't for Litsy, so thank you! This was a lovely book about a fascinating topic. Karl's empathy and kindness come through loud and clear and provide a calming context for topics that might otherwise be challenging to be with.
My best friend gave a presentation in NJ tonight. He has one published book so far, a memoir, which is the tagged book. Working on his second. His presentation tonight was “What Scares Psychics”. Packed house, as always, to hear him speak. Folks swarm him afterward, lol. Great guy, so happy I made it tonight to support him. 😁
Our keynote speaker was my best friend--author, film director, songwriter, among other things, Karl Petry 😁! He talked about why writing a book is more difficult than writing a song or making a film. He also talked about how when a writer writes a piece of work, it's a part of him/her, a part of their heart and mind and soul that will live on after them. Your book is a legacy of you. My best friend, author Karl Petry, showed off his peerless '55 Pontiac at a classic car show today. I'm not surprised his gets the most attention among the 200 that are showcased. He really made this piece of art into a masterpiece in bringing it back from the brink bit by bit. Absolutely magnificent. 😎👌🏻

We had a great lunch the other day with my best friend, author/film director/band manager/Renaissance Man-extraordinaire Karl Petry. Always good to catch up over some excellent Guinness and wings at the local pub. Friends are so important, especially ones that understand you as a biblioholic, lol.

Less people than normal, but there was a lot of bookish competition this weekend with #BRL, etc. Great time was had by all! The paranormal and supernatural always attract an enthusiastic group 😊👍🏻.
