This story sounds like a YA book. Two families decide to swap their houses, one in Colorado, the other one in Arizona.Someone will stay in one of the houses but decides to do it in incognito and the confusion starts. It was ok maybe so-so but I also enjoyed this one. Very predictable with happy ending, like a simple hallmark movie. 3⭐️ #DashingDecember @Andrew65

This was ok but the characters felt so very young to me. This would have worked more for a YA than a story about adults.

Just opened my #litsylovewinterswap package from @moonprismpower.
Thank you so much! I had never heard of the Gimble, but it will make holding books open so much easier. And the size/weight will make it easy to throw into a purse and go! Super excited to read the books & I love the infinity scarf. Told my fiancee I would be nice and let her steal the vanilla hot cocoa, but there was no way she was getting my mint packet! Lol. Happy holidays!

Another fun and cozy holiday read with a case of mistaken identity and lots of skiing.

I haven‘t read Christmas romances in years, (this must be the year) but when I searched Hoopla for Christmas mysteries this is what I found instead. Cute story about a house swap at Christmas and a lovely character named Emma who seriously needs to find new friends. Just about three stars.

As much as I liked Emma, I really disliked the people she chose to keep company with during the holidays, year after year.

This was an adorable shorter holiday novel. It would make a good basis for a Hallmark Christmas movie. Do wish it was longer and the characters stopped mentioning how rich other people were. But it was nice sweet read to read by the fire for a few hours. Read for 5 readathons so 175 pts. @StayCurious #teamreadnosedreindeer #wintergames2020

I enjoyed the festive read very much... the kind of book that has you longing for hot cocoa by the fire, Christmas carols on the radio and snow lightly falling outside!

Reading about all these Christmas Swaps has me intrigued. I've never done a Litsy swap before but this might be the time to jump in...

I like Ms. Carlson's writing, and she's good with dialogue. Despite the book not being very long (163 pages), we still get to know both Emma and West, and the supporting characters are also well written and unique enough to feel real. I very much enjoyed this novella.

I jumped at the chance to read this one after loving The Happy Camper so much—this one is a bit shorter, under 200 pages. I especially loved the snow skiing scenes. I can‘t imagine people swapping houses at the holidays but maybe that‘s a thing that really happens? The story makes Breckinridge sound fantastic, especially at #Christmas 🎄❄️⛷

I enjoyed Emma‘s positive spirit and her delight in seeing snow for the first time. West was instantly drawn to Emma and their friendship got off to a great start.

Well, except for that whole “not revealing who he really is” bit. 😉🤣

Mistaken identity is a theme that works well in these lighthearted novellas and this time was no exception.
