After listening to Seinfeld's new book, I felt some major nostalgia for the show, and this fit the bill perfectly, a blend of behind the scenes, trivia, gossip and a look at the impact of the show. 4 📺📺📺📺
First book finished for #OutstandingOctober (10:14:31) @Andrew65 , #Littenlisten (5:39:06) @aperfectmjk and #October20in4 (14:11:50) @Bookgoil
Just finally showed the kids this classic holiday episode about Festivus (actually, the episode is called "The Strike"). Now, my husband and son are wrestling... Taking bets on who yells first...

#SeptemberSins A book about #TheShow about nothing. One of the greatest sitcoms ever written and produced. Yet another book on my virtual TBR 🙄
Two replacements for my #LeftHanders Display! 😁 Don‘t forget that our holiday is tomorrow, fellow Lefties! 😁👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻
Have you read either of these books?!

I'm a huge Seinfeld fan, so when I stumbled upon this audiobook I couldn't help myself. There wasn't much in this that I didn't know, but it was still a fun trip down memory lane. The photo is from my favorite episode where George pretends to be a marine biologist.
This one also takes care of New York for my #ReadingUSA2019 @Librarybelle
How am I only discovering this now?
The ending was a little drier and drawn out, but the rest of the book had me right back there in the 90‘s with Jerry and the gang. With characters & catch phrases such as the Soup Nazi, Festivus, the Junior Mint, the Contest, and so much more, you cannot read this and then NOT immediately run to your TV to go watch old streamed episodes.
1. Paperbacks
2. 6.5
3. Potato chips and tzatziki.
4. Seinfeld, Golden Girls, X-Files, 30 Rock, Spaced.
5. Hmm, I feel like a stalker when I tag the same people repeatedly, but with a stranger I worry I‘m forcing their participation (like calling on a student who didn‘t raise their hand). This answer is an example of my unbridled neuroses. And an invitation to awkward, overthinking introverts everywhere!

Tonight was Seinfeld Night at my local baseball ⚾️ stadium where I got to meet J. Peterman himself, John O'Hurley. Good times 😁for sure!
The episode with Jerry and the library cop is on TBS right now!! 📚📚❤️❤️
Such rad insight into one of the best shows of all-time. I wish I could read a book like this about every sitcom I grew up with.
I love Seinfeld, but I cannot say the same for this book. The author didn't connect with me in her writing style. The whole "seinfeldia" idea felt really cheesy and she repeated herself quite a bit. A super fan should have written this book and I can tell she is not one. If you like Seinfeld you will enjoy some of the memories in this book, but you'd get the same enjoyment from watching the series again and the DVD extras.
Tonight's reading. So excited! 🤗
The dangerous thing about this book is that all you want to do is watch each and every episode referenced. Good thing it's on Hulu now! Fascinatingly insightful for original fans of the show and newcomers alike, this book dives deep into the origins of our favorite episodes and shows us the creative process that pushed the boundaries of sitcoms in the 90s. Explores the way society grew to love and appreciate the culture of Seinfeldia.
#2016booksyoumissedouton All of these are library books and all are copyrighted 2016. I'm already behind for 2017, lol. I've at least started about 5 of them, lol 📚📚👍👍⭐️⭐️
Although she wasn't MOT, Mary Tyler Moore introduced some of the best Jewish moments in American television. Remembering her today with a piece from The #ProsenPeople archives by 'Seinfeldia' author Jennifer Keishin Armstrong: http://bit.ly/29xt3ro #JewLit
I recommended this earlier in the week when I was midway through & finishing it this morning, it's still a pick for me but I will say that your level of enjoyment of it will be directly related to your fandom of the show & love for trivia/behind-the-scenes info. I especially liked hearing where some of my favorite episodes originated but things can get a little repetitive & some chapters are stronger than others. I feel a binge watch coming on!😆
Really fun and easy read. I love behind-the-scenes stuff, so I enjoyed it.
#recommendsday OK, I should probably get more than halfway through this book before recommending it, but if you are a pop culture & Seinfeld geek like I am, I'm pretty sure you are going to enjoy this behind the scenes look at the show. And if not, well then, No soup for you! 🍲😆
Whew, that's a lot of Seinfeld facts! Lots of info on how specific, fan-favorite episodes and characters came into being, plus a look into how the obsession has continued since the series ended. Now I want to rewatch the series. Good thing I brought the DVDs to Japan 📀✌☕ #mommyreads #audiobook #tv #popculture #nonfiction
the author has already defined CD-ROM and Geocities, and I'm officially a relic 💻💿👵💀
I never can get enough Seinfeld trivia!
"Let me tell you something, funny boy. You know that little stamp? The one that says New York Public Library? Well, that may not mean anything to you, but that means a lot to me. Sure, go ahead, laugh if you want to. I've seen your type before. Flashy, making the scene, flaunting convention. Yeah, I know what you're thinking. Why's this guy making such a big stink about old library books?" - Lt. Bookman

When the rest of your family is watching The Perfect Storm...
It's a non-fiction kind of week. #libraryhaul
This book can only be appreciated by true fans. It caused to start watching repeats which isn't good because it took me away from reading! Ack. Seriously this is a thorough look at the show and caused me to laugh out loud often.
A must-read if you're like me and still watch Seinfeld at least three times a week. Tons of cool trivia. Quick, enjoyable read! - @GregZimmerman

This book was not quite what I expected... not that there's anything wrong with that. But is it spongeworthy? I wanted a bit more critical analysis of the show and its impact, but got a timeline of Seinfeld history told through old interviews with writers. Fun for the superfan. 3 out of 5 tainted wedding invites ✉️✉️✉️
Cheers to the freakin' weekend! Especially when all your library holds come in!
Always nice to open mail & discover a book!
I am a die hard Seinfeld fan so this book fed my addiction. It offered behind the scenes glimpses and gave voices to those that made the show what it was. This isn't for casual fans as it makes generous use of the phrases and moments that are Seinfeld lexicon. Well written and engaging, I thought it was a great homage to the show that changed everything.
I had a meta experience today. I got on the treadmill at the gym and turned on the TV and Seinfeld was on , the Junior Mint episode. I opened my Kindle to my book, Seinfeldia, and it was the chapter about the Junior Mint episode.
