1. Many years ago, my grandmother took a winter trip through Yosemite where they rode big transport buses on the cleared roads in the park. I guess they stayed in the lodges at night? Anyway, it sounded like a fun winter vacation.
2. I would bring a tote bag full of books and then spend most of my time looking out the windows.

panSorry John Muir, and my husband, who bought me this book...For every beautiful description of a waterfall and “the mountains are calling...” there is a too long too detailed description of pine needles or “in their usual murdering, plundering style” racism. I will always love Yosemite, especially because it is the hubby‘s favorite place on the planet, but this book was painful! 😢🤷🏼♀️

I‘ve been away from Litsy for a few days, mostly watching Netflix (The new Queer Eye is so fun). It‘s going to be raining again here all weekend so hopefully I can make it through my #currentreads, I feel like I‘ve been stuck on them for a while.
Also, my husband bought me chocolates the day after Valentines for 1/2 off because he knows I‘m a monster who bites into each of them to see which ones I like. Not a lot of winners in this box. 😂
