This was a lovely novella for the holidays. Sweet, romantic, and perfect to curl up and read by the fire 🎄

This was super cute. Lucie‘s daughter, Maya, calls into a romance radio show asking dating advice for her mom from the host, Aidan. This leads to Lucie on his show in an attempt to find Lucie dates. Inspired by Sleepless In Seattle, it‘s full of great characters and a cute romance. I didn‘t love the spicy scenes, but glossed over those and loved the rest of it. 🙂

I loved this one. The concept was creative. Nolan is The Ghost of Christmas past who haunts Harriet but he has no clue why since she is the sweetest person he‘s ever met.
They travel to her past but as they fall for each other, they travel to his as well and the truth of his haunting her is revealed.
It was super cute, the writing good, the characters fun. #christmasromance 🎄#romance

I wasn‘t sure how I would feel about her torn between two men, but she wasn‘t two-timing. She starts out dating an old flame and appreciating their history. The new guy is someone she meets through a friend and it takes time to warm to him.
There was a genuine vibe to the story past the love at first sight trope. And I liked how neither was a bad guy. It was a really cute, sweet story with great characters and secondary characters. #cuteromance

It‘s Book Release Day! The second book in my Nearlake Series releases today. 🤭 #newbook #romance #sweetromance #smalltownromance https://www.laramvanhulzen.com/loveforalifetime

This was cute with so much potential but super slow (especially for a mystery) and dare I say…boring?
Johnny kept talking about how it was a drag to be a viscount but why? He strolled the grounds and fussed over people being there but not much else. I liked Claire, but she lacked depth. There were likable characters but it felt more plot driven and a slow plot at that. Good writing. I would try another by the author.

I really like this author‘s writing and the characters and town are awesome, but the spice level has gone up with each book, this one being too much for me, which is a bummer. I may read the rest of the series but still deciding…

This one was cute but more spice than storyline for me. Hazel was darling and I loved her wanting to have a fun summer before turning 30. And Noah was a sweetheart wrapped in a bad boy-ish package. I‘m enjoying the series and will dive into book 3 next.

This was SO CUTE. Logan and Jeanie are too adorable and I love this town. It was just the fall romance read I was looking for. 🍂🍁#romance #fallromance

I really enjoy her books, but I just didn‘t love this one. The writing is great. I always want that to be clear-it was more me not really clicking with the story as much as her others.

I have been working my way through this series for years and just finished this one. This one took a little longer to get through than others but I have loved every book so far. ❤️ #greatread #epicseries

I am a big fan of the enneagram and appreciated greatly this dive into the 12 steps in sync with that. I highly recommend the workbook as well. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I loved this. The characters. The story. The octopus. Definitely going on my top ten list of favorites. 🥰

I am appreciative of all the info in this book as well as The New Menopause. Both are helping me navigate these years in a healthy way - I highly recommend! 👍🏻

I haven't read a Christina Lauren in a little while. It was a quick read with great characters, lots of family drama, and all you'd expect from one of their books. I enjoyed it. 🤓

Abby Jimenez is a favorite and I really liked this. The friendship that leads to romance is my favorite, and you can't go wrong with a cute baby and fussy, old dog thrown in. 🤓

I LOVED this. I'm a fan, but this is a favorite. Katie is so likable. The storyline is exciting. Hutch is swoon-worthy and he has a Great Dane. (Like me!) I could not love this book more.🤓❤️ #greatread #romcom

I LOVED the Heiress so I was bummed I didn't click with this one, but the narcissistic friend was too close to past experiences for me and the storyline got a tad too scattered. I love her writing though, and she is stellar at suspense.

I have enjoyed this series. It's a very sweet, clean romance series with two families - one from America and one from Ireland. They are books I love when I need a historical romance with low drama and great characters of strong faith. #lovelyread #cleanromance

This is the first book I've read by this author and I really liked it. I also have a Harlequin Great Dane (Sabrina) and the author depicted one perfectly. ❤️🐾 Super cute romance. I'm eager to read others by her. #romance #dogsoflitsy

This was a lovely story. Clean romance. Historical. Loved the characters and the writing. I bought the next one in the series. 🤓 It was like a warm blanket at the end of a cold day. I could count in it being comforting and pleasant. 🙃 #romance #historical

This was wonderful. The way Kate Quinn told each woman's story drew me in and then to have a murder mystery intertwined made this book a fantastic read. 🤓 #greatread

LOVED this. And it was awesome that I got to read it while visiting New York and The Met. ❤️🤓

Another great Abby Jimenez. 🎵 It's easy to love her characters and I'm a fan of her writing style. Sloan and Jason go through a LOT to be together but in true Jimenez style, they do so with deep emotion and a roller coaster of things that try to keep them apart. It was just the right vacation beach read for me. 😎 #romance

This was super cute. I liked 5 Gold Rings better, but this was fun. It's also more focused on friendships than the romance. (Also cute and stories I enjoyed - just not sure I'd call it a full-on romance book).

This was the first I have read by this author and I loved it! ❤️ It was charming, funny, festive, and romantic. Exactly what I wanted to read during the holidays. 🎄

I have a new book releasing today! 🎉🧡 It's the first in a new series. If you love Hallmark movies, my books are for you. 💖
I also have GIVEAWAYS happening on Goodreads and LibraryThing so check those out. https://www.laramvanhulzen.com/post/a-love-worth-waiting-for

I like Abby Jimenez's writing, but this story wasn't my favorite. Her characters are great but I am not a fan of the "let's not communicate for 80% of the book and just be angsty" trope- with a quick wrap up in the last few chapters.

Started this one today while watching football. So far, it's quite fascinating. The book. Football is not as fascinating. 😂🏈

I'm normally not a fan of the enemies-to-lovers trope but this one was cute. Lucas and Izzy are more flirty/competitive than mean or nasty. And the author did a good job of showing both sides and why they were hesitant to be honest with their feelings. The hotel is a fun setting with a cast of characters that added to the story as well. #cuteromcom

I. Loved. This. It is good, clean sinister fun with twists and turns right up to the end. It was just what I needed to get out of a reading slump.

This was super cute, fun, and filled with great characters. I love her books. 🤓

I started out wanting to like this one but it really got sloppy and all over the place. And I think there were about 25 different plots and twists, maybe more. Sadly, I ended up skimming the second half just to finish. 😬

These are lovely short stories. I'm eager to read the third one due out in Feb 2025. ❤️🤓

This was a super cute story with a fun premise. Could maybe be a little shorter but otherwise it has all the things that make a great Emily Henry book. 🤓

Although I'm not a fan of the "let's not communicate about how we feel for 200 pages" storyline, this one had a friend group that added a fun dynamic, as well as some complications that were realistic. And I LOVED the ending. Christina Lauren always writes great characters which keeps me reading. ?

This wasn't my favorite Katherine Center book, but I still liked it. I prefer ones like The Bodyguard where there are mostly scenes between the two main characters. Although this one is more focused on one MC, it is still filled with heart and strong emotions and lovely writing and all the things that make Katherine Center a fave author. 🤓❤️

Sabrina liked this one as much as I did. ❤️ Jimenez is definitely a new favorite author.
