“Shorefall” hardly takes a single breath from “Foundaryside”. The story of Sancia, Gregor, Orso, etc continues to be exciting and fast paced. “Locklands” is next and I am certain that it doesn‘t take a breath either.

It‘s interesting to be reading this series just after the first book of the Kithamar trilogy. They‘re not the same but I feel like they‘re interested in some of the same things. Maybe? Anyways, I‘m looking forward to seeing how this series concludes.

Another song that automatically put different book scenes from Shorefall into my head. The song just reminded me so much of the atmosphere in this part of the trilogy and how I feel whenever I'm reading it.

Ugh, I‘m struggling through this. I honestly might bail 😒

I was waiting for this sequel for a while. Now that I have it though I‘ve been struggling to get into it. Fingers crossed it gets more interesting.

I absolutely plowed through this book, something about this series gives me excitement that I haven't felt since I was in elementary school...anyway this was a wild ride. nonstop action and hoo boy do the stakes get even higher, somehow. I wasn't expecting the turn of events by the end of the book and the cliffhanger ending brutalized me. excited (and scared) to see how things go from here.

You know, if authors could stop hurting me with books...that'd be super appreciated. This was so cool and fascinating to read after how Foundryside ended. I love the cast sooooo much but I definitely have trust issues now.

I got 8 chapters in and loving it. Switching to watch some k-drama and eat dinner for the rest of the night.

Just finished my reread of Foundryside (5⭐️) and now on to the much anticipated sequel!

Shorefall is the second installment in the Founders series by Robert Jackson Bennett. Though good, it was not on the same level as the first book, Foundryside. It takes up 3 years later in Tevanne were Sancia and her friends are trying to change society by undermining the major foundries. But all goes awry when a wannabe God enters the picture. Super inventive but hard to follow at complexity at times. 4 ⭐ Read my full review ⬇️

This book was absolutely incredible. I loved every page of it and I'm so sad it's over.

I was lucky enough to win a copy of this from GoodReads and it was delivered right after I finished reading Foundryside.

I loved this one as much as the first! It has a lot more action and I had no clue where the story would end because the author had me guessing and questioning with every page turn. What you think you know is continually challenged, which makes an exciting read. 😁
