Shakespeare for Squirrels: A Novel | 
I went to do a Dog Jog this morning with friends. Gatsby slept in but got a new kerchief anyway. Now I‘m starting this one with her on my lap. I figure I‘ve earned couch time after two (slow) races this weekend.

In the afterword, Mr Moore said Blacktooth was based upon Constable Dogberry from Much Ado About Nothing, as I had suspected while reading the book. So here is my own dear Constable Dogberry, posing with the book. He seems perturbed that it took this book to notice the backyard faeries. 😉
I feel like this is a Shakespearean version of the game show host‘s takedown from Billy Madison. I swear I heard “may god have mercy on your soul!” after I read this part. 😂

But it is the best raunchy, messed up, Shakespeare based murder mystery loaded with complete nonsense, fuckery, monkeys, squirrels, sexual innuendos and about 600 new words for penis? Abso-fucking-lutely!
It makes no sense whatsoever but it's fun, lewd and kind of hilarious.

pickSooo...I'm still not exactly sure what happened, but it was fun...like a messy night of drinking with good looking people that you can't quite remember their names the next day. Lighthearted and fast, I love Pocket even if I feel like this could've actually used a few more chapters and a little bit more significance...more ends tied up in a significant way? But...hey...we did a few shots together and I'd love another book with Pocket and Cobweb.
