I feel cheated with this comic. I was actually enjoying it and the last chapter was so dark and crazy and then... it just ends. It‘s so abrupt that it annoys me, I have more questions then anything and they will never be answered.

Pretty dark and twisted. None of the characters are particularly likeable. Still, a compelling story and well drawn.
I enjoyed the art and the concept of this story. But the way it plays out left me feeling meh.
Omg I raced thru this volume only to find out it wasn‘t continued 😱😭 I seriously want to know what happens next. I would highly recommend reading this but know you will be left forever at a cliffhanger 😑
The art was pretty and I liked the idea of the characters, but I think this fell very short. Unsatisfactory ending, wish it were longer and explored these characters more.
1. Frankenstein, maybe. I'm not certain I'd call it a favorite, but it's really rather good (& due for a re-read).
2. Olive green.
3. Shit 😂
4. Chthulhu (or dragons).
5. 🙋🙋🙋

I have mixed feelings on this one.
I enjoyed it: Lemire builds a world and fleshes out the characters well, giving them conflicts and challenges to work through.
And then it's just done - in shocking fashion.
I'm ok with the ending in and of itself.
And I'm ok with this not going on indefinitely.
But I'm left with many questions, and feeling like so much went into it that there should be at least an epilogue that tells us how they all turn out.
Picked this up on #freecomicbookday - signed by the artist - starting now 🙂
Errands with hubby including stopping for #freecomicbookday I picked up 2 graphic novels I've been wanting to read and a few freebies. I also got to meet Emi Lenox, co-author and artist of Plutona. I couldn't resist the cute little witch print either.
A #graphicnovel about a group of teen misfits who find the body of a superhero in the woods. Really well done, and did some things I did not expect.
This was truly a wrenching one of wanting to be someone else 😞 #bookworm #bookstagram #bengalibookworm #graphicnovel #plutona#grim
This was so well done, so visual, and so well written. I was so impressed by the story.
And... I'm finished! January #24in48 done and done! 😃 my final stack comprised of 13 books (15 if the micropress chapbooks count) and I was able to read two books for #readharder and one for #litsyatoz as well as knock out quite a few for #mounttbr - so I'm quite pleased. Looking forward to doing this again July!
Wow! Five friends find a dead superhero in the woods....then chaos. A twisted "Stand by Me" story. Love the art and the kids act like kids. Bravo!
Loving this comic about five kids who discover a dead superhero in the woods. My dog just wants a walk.
It's tough to be a mom and a superhero. Work life balance affects us all. Loving this comic about 5 friends who find a dead superhero( aka "Stand By Me" coming of age tale).
Enjoying my Saturday with this coming of age comic. Five kids find a dead superhero in the woods... After the grisly discovery, they embark on an adventure that will test their friendships and tear their group apart. Sounds like "stand by me." My cat Slick is enjoying it with me.
