Three different short stories but connected, everything happened in the same town during Halloween season. I only liked the second story which was so funny. The first one was boring for me and the third one has many conflict of interest concerns, a mayor created a job position to have near someone he likes? Fall in love with her? As supervisor? And it didn‘t matter if she is late because she was with him? Really?🤔🙁2⭐️Because I liked one story.

The premise is cute, but this collection of three novellas by different authors was uneven and completely unbelievable. Magic cookies work love spells in almost laughable ways. It‘s light and an easy read-perfect waiting room and airplane fare for me. But I wouldn‘t go out of my way for this one.

This was supposed to be a calm, relaxing day. It was anything but. 😬 However, I did finish this book tonight!

Purely a #coverlust read. I did not realize it was 3 short stories, heavy on the romance and light on quality.

Sweet Magic: The bakery setting and family dynamics were nice.

Love Spells Disaster: Awful and boring.

Sweet on You: The old lady was funny. That‘s it.

Having an early dinner before going to see Peter Pan! Because Maya is in the school of theater training, we get to go for a backstage tour ahead of the show. She‘ll be auditioning next spring for both The Sound of Music and Hairspray, Jr!

Sitting in the waiting room as @Alisnazzy has dental surgery. Book and Kindle are my trusty companions.

I didn‘t realize this was a book of 3 short stories. Just finished the first story, which was just okay. But very full of Halloween fun, set in a small town in Maine.

Horrible. Unless you like cheesy bodice-rippers. 🤢 Thought it was a cozy novel set in a bakery. Actually three short stories.
