#ispy a book with trees @LeeRHarry this was a tricky one. This was a recent DNF but all I could find with a tree on it. If you like to play, how about books with birds on the cover. @Cinfhen @TheBookAddict @MrsMalaprop
I‘m bailing on this not because it‘s bad at all, actually I think I‘d quite like it but I have so many other books I want to read and I just can‘t get into this one right now. Maybe I‘ll come back to it, maybe not.
February #doublespin
@TheAromaofBooks
Finally found time to start my #doublespin book. Obviously I won‘t get it finished by March (ie tomorrow!).
@TheAromaofBooks
Here‘s my list for February #bookspin thanks to @TheAromaofBooks
I‘m excited to get to at least one of these much neglected books from my TBR.
Genre: Science fiction, psychological Fiction.
Date started: November 1, 2019
Date finished: November 28, 2019
How did you choose this book: I choose this book because I like the concept of forgetting every 25 years
This was very good. It's been awhile since I've been swept up in a book and this one definitely grabbed me. :)
Started this one yesterday at the insistence of my 13yo. This has become one of her all time favorites. I see why! Less than 100 pages in & I'm hooked. A fresh dystopian take! And her covers are swoon-worthy. #currentread #currentlyreading
I liked the ideas presented here, but many of the main characters were just SO unlikable and the pacing was just.. painful. Nothing action-wise happens until the last quarter of the book. That said, I'm interested enough in what might happen to these people to read the sequel, which I own anyway so why not haha
I feel like im forgetting a swap!

It took me more than a year to finally get to this one. It‘s an interesting book. It has elements that fans of The Hunger Games and Divergent will enjoy, but it‘s definitely original.
There are times in life if I'm not sure if I'm forgetting something or just #sleepingin while standing up. #tuneintonovember
If you enjoyed the Divergent Series I think you‘d really enjoy this stand alone novel. It brings you on many twists and turns and throws many unexpected things at you. A very good love story, also makes you love characters you used to hate. 9/10
A relaxing way to start a school day 📖
These are my two books I hope to finish by the end of October! (Also they are in one of my favorite colors!)
Past Uppercase Box book on sale for Kindle today. I enjoyed it...worth the sale price in my opinion! 😁
Been having a bit of a "what's the point in reading when I forget so much of what I've read moment lately" The bf sent me this article today and I really love its perspective. https://medium.com/the-polymath-project/its-okay-to-forget-what-you-read-f4ef1c3...
I stand undefeated! I actually found some #gold for the #bookcolortag @KassKho threw my way.
I am just as surprised as you are that there was more #colorstacking to do first thing this morning - and that gold is a thing!
In the city of Canaan, what isn't written, isn't remembered. The Forgetting wipes you of your memories and all you have is your book to guide you. But Nadia remembers everything. #MemoriesRemain #90sInJuly
This was such a unique book! I loved it!!!
The story started off a little slow to me and it took me a while to get into it. But then I started to understand more of what was going on and I was hooked!
I fell in love with the characters. And I was so intrigued by the plot!! The Forgetting really got me thinking about how important our memories are.
I highly recommend if you're looking for a different dystopian!
The Forgetting by Sharon Cameron inspired poem —
– the knowledge she had,
Had moved onto the light weight in her clammy hand;
Her mind was as empty as a glass. ✨

This is me attempting to be cool😆rekindling my love for poetry again! I have very little idea of what this novel is about, but I felt the need to be creative and came up with this short piece❤️

Do you like poems?
I got pretty thoughtful with this book, becouse seriously you are nothingg without your memories, you don't know if you are a good or a bad person, you don't know how you feel about someone, the only thing that I know now, is that I'm going to start a Diary 😂
#Lies I loved this book a lot. Without giving anything away, Nadia is the only one who doesn't forget when the The Forgetting happens. As it approaches, Nadia must uncover the truth before it's too late. #maybookflowers
Based on the inside flap, I wasn't sure if I was going to like this story, but I did! It was well-paced and had an unexpected ending. I definitely recommend if you're a fan of YA.
The premise for this story was good, but it was much like other dystopian YA novels overall. I did like that there was no love triangle and that the female protagonist wasn't helpless. The narration for this audiobook did get on my nerves a little; she always sounded on the verge of tears. Also, every time she said "Anson the Planter", I heard "ants in the planter". It was a little distracting. The plot and writing was solid, though.
I loved Nadia the main character. I found the book completely engaging. So many layers being revealed. I also really enjoyed the narrator. She did a strong job and definitely added to the experience. I will find myself thinking about the people of Cannon.

Read this with the intent to inspire myself to write! Great book! Engrossing read! Makes you feel for the characters! Could totally see this becoming a movie--if you liked The Maze Runner or the Allegiant series, you'll like this. Can't wait to read more by this author if her other work is like this.
I picked this book up after browsing my local library. I'm a fan of sci-fi teen books. This was a good read and kept me entertained. I did not see the twist coming, and it kept me guessing.
My pitch for this month's Teen Book Discussion pick: "It's like The Giver meets The Purge!"...which may not be entirely accurate but the blurb sort of gives that impression!
