Here‘s my November TBR along with my goals for the month. My TBR will not be as ambitious as it was last month. Last month, I had 67 books on my TBR. I only read 9 of them and mood read for the rest of the month after my dog passed away on Oct 25. 67 books was too much. Oct was rough for me. I know I have a lot of ARCs to read right now but I really need to mood read for a while. I‘m hoping Nov will be better for me.

Some of what I hope to read this month! October was so busy with less reading. Ugh! How was your reads for #BookedIntime Canada/Colonialism? Learn anything new?

I empathized with the character in A Place called Winter, as he tried to make a new life for himself in Canada. I was a little nervous for the first few pages, but it was really good.

November‘s prompt French Rev/Napoleon I‘m reading the Glass Blowers, what did you pick?

jenniferw88 I didn't get to my October pick, but hope to this month, alongside 13mo

AllDebooks I didn't own anything regarding Canada. I'm trying to stock to clearing my tbr shelfa little. I have a few on Grench revolutionbut I think I'm gonna joinyou with the glass blowers. I love DdM 13mo
SamAnne I‘ve started Don Quixote. I I‘m doing a smooth transition between October reads and Native American Heritage month with reading horror, spooky, speculative fiction by Native American writers. Tagged as well as Bad Cree. And planning to finish my lingering half read books. (edited) 13mo
Bookwormjillk I loved A Place Called Winter. Such a nice contrast to all of the mysteries and thrillers I read last month. Thanks for finding that one. 13mo
Cuilin @jenniferw88 I think someone else is reading that too, cool. 13mo
Cuilin @AllDebooks well done for sticking to the TBR. I do try 😬 I love DdM too. 13mo
AnnR I also didn't own anything set in Canada, so chose to skip October. Since I own The Glassblowers, I will try to fit it in if I feel up to it. 🙂 13mo
Cuilin @SamAnne great plan. 👍 13mo
Cuilin @AnnR fabulous 13mo
Cuilin @Bookwormjillk I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. 13mo
Mollyanna I didn‘t get to my October read (In the Skin of a Lion) but am hoping to get it in this month. For this month I am reading 13mo
Cuilin @Mollyanna I love a historical spy book. Sounds great. 13mo
Mollyanna Me too. One of my favorite series is the Pink Carnation series… female spies in the early 1800s, which now that I think of it would have worked for this prompt as well. 13mo
Cuilin @Mollyanna I will have to check them out they sound great!! 13mo
ChaoticMissAdventures @Mollyanna ohh this sounds so good! 13mo
Mollyanna They are a lot of fun. Intrigue, history, a little romance, strong females… what more could you ask for?!? 13mo
Mollyanna @ChaoticMissAdventures I‘m looking forward to it. It‘s my next read. 13mo
dabbe I chose WENJACK for its shortness, knowing #Scarathlon would keep me busy. It was hauntingly beautiful and heartbreaking. Hopefully, I'll FINALLY finish WAR AND PEACE this month (started in January! 😱) as my Napoleon read. 💜🖤🧡 13mo
rwmg I re-read “The Building of Jalna“ as the only book on my shelves and wishlists that fitted the prompt. I'm going to stray outside my comfort zone with a nautical story, “Master and Commander“, for this month. It's included in my Scribd subscription so at least I'm not spending money if it turns out to be a bail. 13mo
ChaoticMissAdventures I try to stick with Nonfiction books in November as much as possible, and I was able to get this super interesting looking one from the library 13mo
Itchyfeetreader I missed October and am pontificating to November. My husband loves ‘age of sail‘ books and has been throwing out suggestions but all seem to be huge series! I may reread one of the ‘generals quartet‘ eg tagged 13mo
Cuilin @ChaoticMissAdventures can‘t wait to hear your thoughts on that. Looks so good. 13mo
Cuilin @Itchyfeetreader fabulous 👍 though I do like an age of sails/tall ships book too. 13mo
Cuilin @rwmg love M&C, great read. 13mo
rubyslippersreads I‘m so behind! 🫣 I haven‘t figured out my Napoleon book yet, but it might be 13mo
Cuilin @rubyslippersreads that looks like a great dramatic story. 13mo
TheBookgeekFrau Unfortunately, I didn't get to the October read. For Napoleon I want to re-read the Josephine B trilogy 13mo
rubyslippersreads @TheBookgeekFrau I‘ve read the first book in the trilogy, but want to finish it. 13mo
rubyslippersreads @rwmg I ❤️ the Jalna series. I think it might be time for a reread. 13mo
TheBookgeekFrau @rubyslippersreads It gets better with each book! 13mo
Deblovestoread Made it to about 25% of my October book and I‘m on the fence. Time will tell if I feel motivated to pick it back up. Looking forward to November. 13mo

Today, I‘m sharing my Nov Reading Wrap-Up. I didn‘t read very much but I preordered a lot of books and ordered books from Book Outlet during their Black Friday Sale. I read the 3rd and 4th books in the Harry Potter series. I started book 5 but I‘m going to be continuing with it in December. I have 21 hrs left in the audiobook so I‘m hoping to finish it before the end of the year. I don‘t know if I‘ll get around to reading books 6 and 7.

BarbaraBB Well planned! 4y
BarbaraBB You‘re quiet, Karen, hope all is well 💕 4y
KarenUK @barbarabb Aw thanks for checking on me. I‘m ok, but just started taking medication for my anxiety for first time (the same time as new job!) and it‘s taking a little adjustment. Been feeling a bit crappy, and reading has been shit! They said to give it 6 weeks to build levels, so fingers crossed. And I hope you had an awesome birthday my lovely... 4y
BarbaraBB I understand. It must be difficult, both these changes at the same time I hope you‘ll adjust soon and that work will give you energy. Take care of yourself and hopefully you‘ll be back to reading soon. Missing my 👯‍♀️ 💜 4y

Well....I guess it's #NovemberWrapUp time. I didn't read as much as I wanted this month BUT 3 books on this list were pretty huge (over 600pg) so I figure I'm on par with last month. 👍 Still working on Sleeping Beauties....it's not going as well as I had hoped. Maybe I need a break from it. Favorite book this month??? Definitely ACOTAR!!! I love new-to-me authors! 🤗🤗🤗 #NovemberReads

HeatherBlue I LOVED ACOTAR! Definitely check out the sequel...I didn‘t think it could get any better, and then it did! ❤️ 7y
Becca95 I‘m with @HeatherBlue !! The sequels definitely get so much better with ACOTAR! Glad you enjoyed it! ✨ 7y
FantasyChick @HeatherBlue @Becca95 I already got them!!! I loved the first one so much I couldn't wait! Is her other series as good too? 7y
Becca95 I haven‘t actually read her other series yet as my TBR is already so big and I know there quite a few books in the other series 😂 I‘ve heard really good things about it though! 7y

Cinfhen I really did @Cortg the book I was most excited about ended up not making the list at all @Kalalalatja @mhillis 7y
Reviewsbylola You read some fantastic books in November!! 7y
emilyhaldi I second @Reviewsbylola !! Great month. What is the book you were most looking forward to that didn‘t make the list? 🤔 7y
Cinfhen @emilyhaldi this one was disappointing 7y
mrp27 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 some great titles there! 7y
mrp27 That's a bummer about Finding Jake, I have it on my nook. Luckily I only paid $1.99. 7y
Cinfhen It's probably worth the $2 ~ I just had higher expectations @mrp27 because it was compared to one of my favorite reads 7y

Andrew65 @DGRachel @robinb This is one I started at the end of last month, and should finish early tomorrow. I am loving it but tying myself in knots trying to work out who did it and why! Love Tom's character, hope he has a bigger part in future books. 7y
Andrew65 @Ms_T Thanks, it should be a good month. 7y
robinb @DGRachel can I just say I‘m counting the days until April? Wish they weren‘t so far between...but at least they‘re still coming, right?! 😊 7y
robinb @Andrew65 oh yes, Tom remains steadfast! That‘s one of the things I love most about this series....the secondary characters. They‘re interesting and fully developed, and you keep getting more as you go along. 7y
DGRachel @robinb I have my copy preordered! 😉 7y
Andrew65 @robinb @DGRachel That's the agonising thing when you're up to date with a series, the long wait for a new one! 7y

#nonfictionnovember #TrumpedUpReadingList

Enjoyed Non-Fiction November. I had gotten out of the habit of always having a non-fiction book going. Although this kickstarted me, my Trumped Up Reading List is YUGE and will likely keep me in non-fiction for a while.

LeahBergen Wow!!! How are you liking Hi, Anxiety? 8y

Well-ReadNeck @LeahBergen Re: Hi, Anxiety, it's the usual double edged sword. It's spot on and I'm liking it but it makes me anxious 😜 8y

Reviewsbylola Great job! I read quite a few nonfic reads but definitely didn't feel like I could successfully devote the whole month to it. 8y
LeahBergen That's EXACTLY what I thought it would do to me! 😂 8y
Sapphire What did you think of Searching for John Hughes? I am thinking of going to an author event for his book next week in Chicago. I am very much a child of the 80s and his films were my HS experience 8y
Well-ReadNeck @Sapphire It was just so-so for me. Having said that, I usually find that seeing the author enhances a book for me. Plus, I imagine it'll be a fun evening with lots of children of the 80's. 8y
