Tonight was all about the mystery knit along that I should have finished 2 weeks ago. ? It's coming out pretty well considering I'm a newbie.
First I "watched" two 80's slasher movies while knitting then did some #audioknitting to Dan Stevens soothing voice.

pick🎧 I‘ve read/listened to this title 4 times in the past 10 yrs and *every time* I feel like I‘m reading the novel for the first time! It‘s weird how the story lends itself to so many different levels of interpretation. This time I was struck by the travelogue aspect: Interesting to see the different settings and trying to correlate them with the action, themes, and symbolism.
I ended up liking but not loving Dan Stevens‘ rather maudlin delivery.
🎧 Often wary of celebrity narrators, I will still give credit when due. I just started this audio from my backlog of audible titles and, Dan Stevens (Matthew Crawley in Downton Abbey) is doing a very nice job with this Classic horror story of man‘s yearning for connection, and his hubris.
