I have a newly found book ick. The plastic sleeve is literally filled with sand. 🤢 who would return a library book like this?!

I can barely keep my eyes open, so it seems like the perfect time to start a new book. 🫠
It‘s no secret, 50% of my reading time happens while waiting on my kids.
This book was a slow start and a fast finish. I enjoyed the time jumping and multiple viewpoints. But… I found myself skipping over large portions of text. I was still able to keep up with the story and understand it without reading big chunks of it. So that‘s always disappointing.
I‘ve been feeling feeling down and overwhelmed since my big move last year. I pulled away from Litsy and people in my life. So it was a big shock to get such a thoughtful surprise from @Sleepswithbooks
It feels really good that someone put in the time to check my tbr list and send me a book for Christmas. Thank you so much for bringing a smile to my face during such a hard time.
Goodbye to my special little pinky toe. I can‘t say you‘ll be missed. Surgery went great. I was in and out of the hospital in 2 hours!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I‘m not usually one for ya, but this series got me. I wish there were more than three books. I love Mara and the Messenger so much.
4.5/5. I loved so much about this book. It was a really creative retelling of Frankenstein. Women empowerment. Suspense. Survival. It has all the things.
I‘ll admit it. I take my kid to the trampoline park almost daily so I can read in relative peace. 😬
Anyone else hate how this book makes you feel? Aka skeezy and uncomfortable?
Nothing like waking up at 4 am to finish a book because you can‘t bear to work another day without knowing the ending. 😭 and then subsequently crying all morning. I haven‘t cried this much since The Book Thief.
1. I love snow; especially the way it makes everything feel, so new and fresh.
2. Staying inside and looking at it? What I mean when I love snow is that I like to LOOK at it. No part of me wants to be outside in it.

Kurt Vonnegut will forever be my favorite. **

I made my cat a bed and it‘s legit the funniest thing I‘ve seen all year. (Is my life sad or what?)

I‘m home in bed with what I hope is a sinus infection 🤞I figured why not do some knitting whole I listen to this quirky book.
I FINALLY got a Dalmatian Crested Gecko. I‘ve been wanting one for so long. I named him Pongo. Get it… 101 Dalmatians…? Hahaha.

Ew. Ew. Ew. 1/2 ⭐️
It‘s like she‘s trying to teach a lesson about “boys being boys.” But she only uses her last breath to say “don‘t do that.” The whole book follows jerk characters doing jerk things. Described as a slow burn but it was more like someone rubbed my eyes with IcyHot.
New house. New town. New library.
It‘s tiny, but it‘s mine (and you know, the whole town‘s)

1. My kids go back to school 🤪
2. Chi tea. But I drink it all year.
3. I haven‘t had it yet. This week had been a challenge and that‘s putting it nicely.
4. My friends. That have pulled me through so much this year.

She lives! …I live? I‘m alive… still. Again.
True story. This summer was hard. I missed Litsy. I missed my pen pals. I missed it all. But I‘m back for now (at least until the next mental crisis).
Hi friends. 😌
Weird af, man. But I liked it (just not as much as hitchhikers)
Happy Mother‘s Day to me!
It has sides y‘inz. They‘re see-through but I swear they‘re there. It just needs some shelves and a door and we‘re done!!!! Well. Some decorations too.
I‘m so excited that I‘ve already gotten another newspaper box to make one for our campground!
This was a good, fast read. I‘m pretty surprised that the reviews are so bad! Good characters. Crazy plot. I sped through this one.
Starting our little library adventure!! Hopefully this abandoned newspaper box will become our family‘s contribution to reading this summer!! 📚
This one is a slooooooooowwww read. The payoff wasn‘t there to finish it. It may be a good story, but I‘ll never know. 1/3 in and all I know is no one knows anything and Axl looks like somebody that somebody used to know. The author doesn‘t drop enough breadcrumbs to make this interesting enough to follow.
(I will say the art for the book on google makes it seem a lot more interesting than what I read...)
Autism ACCEPTANCE is hella important to me 24/7/365/eternity. With two boys on the spectrum, I feel like I spend so much time explaining (read: defending) behaviors and quirks to the world. While we might seem ‘lucky‘ that they‘re both high-functioning, that just makes their disability that much more hidden. Autism isn‘t always obvious. You never know what‘s going on in a family, so please just be kind and compassionate. 💙💙
I couldn‘t decide what to read next... so Instagram picked for me. Woman 99 it is!
All packed for my mini-vacation!

Legit the most fun I‘ve had reading this year. This book was so fast paced and although I guessed some stuff early on, I NEVER would have figured out how it tied all together. 5/5. Highly recommend for a quick, fun mystery.
Right between a so-so and a pick. Not my favorite novel by the author. Definitely some good twists, but also some loose ends that bugged me.
This haul might have been excessive... whoops.

I‘ll be real, it was a painful read. I enjoyed the story, but the language was so overwhelming. You could drown in the ocean of adjectives used in this book. I liked the back door look at Shakespeare. I love Agnes. I appreciated Hamnet and Judith‘s relationship. I‘m just not sure I‘d pick up another Maggie O‘Farrell novel.
Help me choose my next read!
Amazing story with red herrings galore. I really enjoyed this book and finished most of it in one day. I couldn‘t put it down. I HAD to know how it ended. Highly suggest for anyone who needs an easy but entertaining suspense.
Hamnet was getting a bit tedious (good, but slow), so I grabbed one of my go-to genres to break it up. #suspense #thriller #murder #crimejunkie
I got another new plant 💁🏻♀️ might have a problem.
