pickThis was a really interesting story. I loved all the details and folklore entwined in this story. In-between the chapters we learn about the history of the gumiho which was fascinating. The story is a slow burn but it holds attention. The ending was good and I liked the hints left at the end for the second book. Which I want to read. 4*
so-soEh. I'm not 100% sure about this one... It almost feels like the story was fighting itself. So many characters with very little purpose in the story..

pick4/5 for this one! Miyoung is a nine tale fox demon and she is a super rad character. She is strong and hard while at the same time she has a soft side. Jihoon is such a lovable character. Together they are perfect. It is a bit of an enemies to lovers thing for them. I will definitely be continuing this series.
Wrapped up the #CYOReadathon late last night by finishing Wicked Fox. I really enjoyed this book and the influence of Korean myth and folklore, will definitely be picking up the next book. Overall, I liked this for all the Korean mythology- it makes me want to look into it more. It‘s clear the Fox has so much meaning, not just in Korea but in Japan & China too. Story could have been condensed a bit but it definitely hit all the tropes of a kdrama romance. 🦊 💕 🇰🇷 #bookspinbonanza

If you love Korean mythology, drama and romance, this book is for you.
I absolutely love it. The story was touching and you can easily relate to their past and how the characters felt. Their past and emotions were real and raw. My heart hurt for them.
This has many beautiful and inspiring quotes and messages.
Even if theres a romance it doesn't take the entire plot. It's about family, betrayal, friendship, forgiveness and love.

I'm officially a Hogwarts Divination professor🎓😜I waited to review it because this was also the Book chosen for BookMarkPR book club in September.I read 7 books in August.I didn't understand this book until it was discussed.For me was ok & cute.The young audience loved it because they said is like a tv Korean drama.You will see magic, romance, & a lot of drama.The author was so nice in the interview.3.4⭐️

This is my current read. I received an ARC from Times Read in return for an honest review. I‘ve just started and I‘m on chapter 10. It‘s good so far. I like the folktales! As for this one is more on korean/chinese tale. It‘s about nine-tailed fox called Gumiho. I‘m pretty sure many of you have heard that. As for me, this is my first time.
