Although I have had to go back into shielding again today for a routine hospital procedure at the end of the month, I have this puzzle as well as my books to keep me from getting bored. I started it today and have already got the edges sorted!

#DNF Moving on to start April. I think I will find success with this as a beach read this summer. Unfortunately in the last two weeks, it read like noise on a page. Now the question is, what to start????
I‘m having a really hard time getting into this story. What should be an easy 1-2 day read is going on 5 days. It doesn‘t help that I started it with houseguests in town. Today is my first back to “normal” day, so let‘s see if things get better.
Getting a little reading in while my houseguests are on an errand. Not sure I care for Judith Flanders writing style.
@BrainyHeroine has given me the push I needed to finally participate in #nanowrimo, after years of thinking about it! I set my word goal low, so really it is more of a novella than a novel, but I am excited to start writing again, I gave it up after I started having babies! I am nervous but definitely up for a new challenge. Getting some inspiration from my favorite novelist Jane Austen this morning.
I read this in a day not because it was such a gripping story as it was an easy summer read but it was still a solid story, very humourous, and full of matter of fact observations about a woman's experience, often in the workplace (e.g. the photo-ed explanation above). I appreciated Flanders' no BS voice and her characters, especially Helena.
""You have balls."... I'd just never wanted balls. Silly me."
Yea, those things seem damn uncomfortable, far too sensitive, and tbh imo ugly. Lol
"...with a look so filled with venom that he shrank back in his seat. Good. I had enough assholes in my life already."
Preach.
Sweet suffering! No wonder so many people have Writer's Block. #litsyhumor #library
"I only feel great when I'm lying on the sofa..." Feel this so hard ?
