pickNow that's how you end a series!! The ending was perfect for the characters, tied up things and even maybe left room for a spin off in the future of other characters. In true Charley fashion there were lots of laughs along with plenty of emotion. It's been a long time since I've finished a series this quickly. Also have to say that the audiobook versions were well done as well...just with headphones or alone 🤣

pick5/5 for the last in this series. What an ending to such a great series! I just can‘t believe it is over. This was a good ending. I feel like things got wrapped up nicely. There were some tears along with laughter. I highly recommend this whole series!

pick⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This story was epic, surprising, swoony, heartbreaking, and brilliantly fantastic! I will admit that there were reveals that took place that seemed to have come from out of nowhere. I am serious, there were no hints at all throughout this series and I was like “whhhaaat!” Hmmm, not very cool. When the ending of this story came it was stunning, shocking, and absolutely perfect. I adored the climatic ending that came as such a surprise.

pickThe final installment of the series, I'm so sad to see this series go! All the loose ends and questions that were left unanswered, are tied up and answered in this book. I have all the feels in this book!! I couldn't put this book down! If only there was a spin off series from this one, it would be perfect!!
pickI love (loved) this series and I‘m so sad that this was the last one. I‘m happy with how she wrapped things up, though. And I heard there will be a spinoff in the future, which I look forward to reading. I highly recommend this series. It‘s easily in my top 5.

I'm sorry this series is over but I think this book was a fitting end to a series that I've enjoyed. The ending brought smiles & a few tears as it's hard to let go after 13 books with Charley Davidson & Reyes & company, but I'm looking forward to seeing what Darynda Jones does with some of these characters next as it is set up well for spin-offs. Lorelei King did her usual excellent.narration.

I think I have to keep listening to find out what happens because I've already teared up a few times & the end is getting good. This week's soup is a retro (1958) Gourmet Magazine recipe for Cold Cream of Watercress Soup, only I am making it vegan & probably eating it hot--it's still cool here. pickThis whole series is a big recommend. I finished it off, relaxing in the tub with my Charley-esk plastic wine glass.
What a finale. There was one part that just blew me away that I had to go back and reread a chapter cause it totally went over my head. While I don‘t think this is the last of these characters, I still felt very emotional reading the last chapter.
Thank you Darynda, for such a funny, awesome, sexy and heartwarming time.

I'm listening a bit at time to make it last although I'm tempted to binge-listen. 😉 Today's soup is a red lentil dal that will have tofu & a spice oil stirred in. The good news is that I can smell it because my Petri dish of an office has given me another cold.🤧Also high winds today so I'm trying to finish my soup & blog post early in case my power goes out. I had to buy this series finale with one of my audible credits when it came out & it jumped the line of my audio books so I can find out what happens with Charley Davidson & her friends. Loving it so far although I want to listen a bit slowly as I love this series & have mixed feelings about it ending. 😥 It makes for excellent #audiosouping today. This is the base for a Shrimp & Coconut Milk Soup. Pictures of the finished soup will be up later.

pickIt's over. It's really over. What a freaking ride though! This last installment takes us to a whole new level of end-of-the-world badass-ness with all the sexy, smartass supernaturals we know so well. Gonna miss Charley and her crew.
I'm a little underwhelmed with the way it ended, but it is actually the perfect ending to this series. Really, I don't think it would have worked any other way.
