Getting started on this.

I've never thought of Edgar Allan Poe as a teenager. I just assumed he came out as a wild looking 40 year old misunderstood pioneer author. I think this book struggled a bit in spots in terms of pacing and plot but overall still an enjoyable read from Winters.

Cat Winters last two books were very "the cover God loves me." lol Like the cover AND under dustjackets are designed. Edgar Allen Poe and a muse sounds awesome

Poe is hands down my favorite author, so any re imagining of his life is a complete draw for me. As someone who has spent a lot of time in Richmond, VA, the atmosphere portrayed in this book is spot on. From the locations to the people, it is well researched. This was such an original idea and is a creative take on Poe's inspirations and psyche.

I‘ve been looking forward to this. More YA Poe.

Did an event earlier this week with the author Cat Winters on her book about a teenage Poe and his muse, which was held at Richmond's Poe Musuem. Loved the book, and the cover is good, but I prefer it without the slipcover. #nakedbooks #Poe

So my shady ass did an online in store pick up at Barnes and Noble while i was in the store! 😂 It was cheaper online!

And i also may not have been able to find it! 🙃
