You know that feeling when you just would like a familiar reread? I often turn to Heyer‘s mysteries for that, and this one is one of my favorites.
Recently, following a couple of disappointing reads, I picked it up again.
Very little drama, a cozy village, and an aged manor house at the center of sinisterly mysterious happenings, and of course Heyer‘s witty dialogue and superb characterization. It‘s always entertaining!
