pickThree adult siblings inherit a rambling country house. They know it needs repairs, but didn‘t know it was haunted. Then the noises start, a dead body is found, and two of the siblings go missing.
Heyer does a good job with atmosphere. Plenty of fraying nerves and short tempers set the mood for a haunted house mystery. Characters aren‘t complex, but a decent read.
