DREAMS OF FALLING started out not feeling like Karen White‘s usual books because of the confusing character problem, but once the book got going, the familiar writing, the marvelous story line, the Southern charm, and warm characters made its appearance and made the story line completely wonderful and enjoyable as always.

This is a story about friendship, family, love, secrets and loss. It was well written and I loved that it‘s set in SC. The main character in the present timeline did drive me crazy though with her bad choices and naivety.

Karen White is a master at telling an amazing story. Dreams of Falling has deep emotion, surprising twists, its intense, touching, and sweet. This is the story about love on many different levels and true friendship that lasts the test of time.
If you have not read a story by Karen White, do yourself a favor and read this book.

Enjoyed the book. Good storyline

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Dreams of Falling
Karen White is a masterful writer, interlacing multiple generations of friendships, family history, love, and loss. Her stories merge the past into the present unleashing secrets and opening hearts. Each novel I read becomes my new favorite and is unique with just the right amount of southern wisdom and a dash of humor.

Dixie says “It‘s time to start a new book mom.” Of course, my dear. Because we all know that dogs know best. #DogsOfLitsy

I don‘t know but I could not get into this one nor did I care.

Next up...feeling like I am in the reading zone the last few weeks.

I LOVED this Southern charmer giving me all the feels of the 50‘s! Set in South Carolina‘s Lowcountry, a murder mystery with decades old friendships sharing hidden secrets, loss and heartbreak intertwined with love, and having the courage to figure out where you truly belong. ❤️ Recommending! 4.5 ☆

Slowly working thru this one. It‘s got rave reviews but I‘m finding somewhat slow. Hoping it picks up. I‘m on say 4 of a headache/migraine so that‘s slowing me down too.

I liked this but didn‘t enjoy it as much as some of her other books. It did give me all the feels though and I was crying by the end of the book.

Next up. Slowly making my way thru my library pile and hoping nothing else comes in for a while so I can work on my own stacks.

This is my favorite type of book-a book where you care about the characters & laugh with them and cry with them and want to shake them when they make questionable choices. It is a story of friendship and family and long kept secrets. Larkin and her family and friends are characters that I invested in and when the book ended I wanted to know what happens next. 4 ⭐️

Wow! What a beautiful novel! Its southern fiction at it's best; with three very different women who form a bond that holds them together through sacrifice and the love, they share for one another. This is a must-read for anyone who loves a great story. I didn't want this book to end; Ms. White has a new fan in this reader that's for sure!
