A bookish flower vase (upper right), a doggie rescue ornament (a cause I‘m very passionate about), holiday candle, comforting tea and all the bookish things. There has been some lovely holiday mail coming lately! I ordered up a Tea advent calendar from Adiagos tea. I can‘t wait to start it! @Kaye thank you for the beautiful Christmas card! I just picked up some stamps and will be sending holiday cards out soon. @JoScho thank you so much friend for this beautiful package! I will be peeking in there very soon. It‘s been a long day and still a couple more tasks to finish up. There was no reading today 😔

Our staff had its holiday party yesterday and not only did we add lefse making to the shindig -- which even though I've lived in Minnesota most of my life I've never done -- we also made book ornaments for our tree in the lobby.
I work at a regional library system by the way hence the uber-appropriateness of the many tiny books.

3. When kids were little all the sibs bought for all the nieces and nephews but then it got to be too big & expensive so we started doing a cousin swap. We also have every kid buy a small item and gift it to a children‘s charity or hospital.
