Power outage at the campground last night due to the wind and the rain. Until it warms up outside or the heat comes back on in the cabin, this is where I‘ll be starting the readathon!

Well, I had hoped to participate in #20in4 this weekend...but my power‘s been off for 16 hours with no estimate of restoration yet (they think maybe by 3 pm on Sunday). On the one hand, there‘s not much to do other than read. On the other, we scrambled to save the frozen and refrigerated food (hubby‘s work has facilities) then cleaned out the fridge...so who knows? Hope to finish The Blue Sword this weekend. 🤞🏻 all around.
Y‘all. It has been A WEEK. I got power back this morning and it seems like it‘s sticking this time (after 2 days without power and 1 day of off/on power I‘m grateful for heat again). My water is still out and that‘s been fun. I‘m appreciative I made it through #snowpocalypse with my health intact and the kittehs seem to be doing all right as well. Using today to come down from the anxiety and warm up #snowmageddon #catsoflitsy

The power is out here, and it‘s way darker in my room than you can tell from this pic, so we‘re fixing to head out to some place with power for lunch and more reading.
Power has been off for about 4 hours now due to it storming all night. And it's still raining, not very bright out. Thank goodness for my book light.
Yesterday I had no power AND no phone service. Today just no power. Reading on my kindle in the dark!
Reading in the dark at 6.30pm and wondering what the heck we are going to eat for dinner (I can‘t go anywhere; no car, and even if I did, the parking gate is stuck)... Lost power here in the upper NW corner of WA. Spouse and I are in bed with phones and Kindles. I know our power will be back soon, and I can‘t help but think of all those who are facing days and days without power, clean water, etc. 💔
I've been a big fan of Harley Quinn since the Batman the Animated Series days so I'm now the proud owner of this beautiful quilled art piece by my incredibly talented friend Jennifer! I give her pieces as gifts but don't have any of my own...
But let's talk about Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Connor. My favorite comic duo and they're insanely fabulous! I fangirled hard at Jimmy once and he told me he was my biggest fan! 😍😍
My bed for the night. 800,000 homes are without power here (second largest outage in history for the area). Winds were clocked near me at 68 mph. I brought all my "stuff" to my son's house. Tink is at home alone. I draped blankets over a few things so she could snuggle in if needed. I'll go check on her in the morning. There are a million places she could hide here, I'm afraid I'd never find her.
