Been sick all weekend with a wicked cough and my two dogs have been giving me some snuggles to make me feel better. Enjoying this book about magic, old time London and some serious mystery. #dogsoflitsy
Rearranged a small section of my bookshelf today. Only a few books sit here with a few toys. This is really where my planner and work clothes sit along with jewelry, headphones, and sunnies. My get ready spot. 💜
What do you do when there's six inches of snow outside? You have teas and cake while you read a book of course. 😉💜
@Victoriahoperose thank you so much! I‘ve been sick in bed the past few days so this really means a lot! I love #kindlitsy and just Litsy in general 🥰
My friend wants me to read this book too so she sent me a copy! 💜 I made us these necklaces. Now I have a delima. I'm in the middle of reading 2 books and have 4 on my ready to read stack!! 🥺 Do I bump this up to next, stop what I'm reading now, or add it to the stack as usual? I typically read them as they come in.
Hate to bail on books, but this was boring me to death. DNF pile unfortunately.
Some #purple books for #riotgrams day 4! I'm using this photo challenge as a way to experiment with book photography. I'm heavily considering starting a bookstagram account, but I'm nervous about whether I can do it. Litsy is so much more welcoming and less intimidating! I'll see how I feel about it after this month.
DNF‘d. Started this back in August and after so long, I barely remember what has gone on and well...
I enjoyed reading this, full of magic, assassination plots, Celtic gods, singing magic and libraries. Not sure what book 2 will be about, but will check@it out! #magic #bookoftheday #midnightqueen #assassination #singing #libraries #goodread #lovetoread

A fun alternate universe that is both familiar and surprising, with POV characters that are engaging and very likable, this is a quick and pleasant read. I'm looking forward to rejoining the shapeshifting Grey and his odd collection of friends and allies in the next book!
#rainbowstack for #24in48 These are all #TBR So many books, so little time! @24in48
It took the first hundred pages for me to really get into it but I then enjoyed it thoroughly. Not that the beginning is bad by any means, it just didn't capture me right away. While the book had some typical tropes of the genre, it also had interesting pacing and a few plot points that I didn't see coming. Definitely going to check out the rest of the trilogy!
Just started this one! Interesting so far! Don't know anyone who has read this one...
"Not one pair of lovers in a thousand, Gray, has such a chance, and besides the danger to [her], I shall think you very stupid indeed if you do not take it." Swoon
The Midnight Queen is a magical mix where Jane Austen meets Harry Potter. If you are a fan of regency novels like Georgette Heyer with a bit of magic sprinkled on top you will love this trilogy. #somethingforsept #mapsinbooks
I hope this book doesn't disappoint. It has a lot of superficial things going for it: the purple cover, the main characters names are Sophie and Gray, it takes place in a historical fantasy England, and I even bought it without realizing Julier Mariller my favorite author has a quote on the cover.
YA for Adults Book club book for April. Merlin references make it very appealing!!
