As an #audiobook listener (about 50% of the books I read), I appreciate a psychologist backing up that yes, listening to a book is different from reading it in print in some ways, and no, it is not cheating and does indeed count as reading the book. 😊👍
Sitting in my car with my book for a bit longer today, since I came to the school early to see my oldest rewarded for meeting his reading goal for the first quarter. It's not a hard feat for my reader kid, but still proud of him.
Senoirs reading to Elementary students in my town! YESSSSSSSS. Big♡
The moment when your sister tells you that your favorite niece wants to join her school's book club. The teary emoji is symbolic of my overwhelming awe and pride in that little wonder I call my puddin pop. My family's back in VA and I miss them so much. #proudauntie #raisingreaders #kidlit #nieces
Nighttime reading in our house ❤️❤️❤️
Apparently reading atop a basket is much more enjoyable than reading in typical places. In her defense, the basket is full of books so, maybe that's why she likes it so much ❤️
I signed my niece up for a monthly subscription for books and her first box came! I'm pretty pleased with it for only $9.99 a month. The ages range categories from 2 to pre-teen. http://bit.ly/2sPu5ZG
As a third grade teacher I tell my students this all the time. Most of them think they don't like reading and it just kills me! Anyone else get frustrated explaining how great reading is to non-readers?
When you're really determined to take your own books to the self-scan, but you picked so many you have to drag the bag. 😂
They built a tent, stocked themselves with vanilla wafers and vitamins, and Eleanor has been reading to Juliet for more than 20 min. 😍 #raisingreaders
This is another post for #jennasfinalproject. My mom started to teach me to read when I three. By four, I was all set to go. That means I've been reading for 48 years. There's hardly a day that I'm not reading some type of book. @pocketmermaid
