Following the reunion of the family, I knew everything would go downhill eventually. After all, that is the nature of a tragic war story like this. Nonetheless, I was not prepared for the gut punches in this volume!

Another really good instalment, with the ever brilliant dialogue and artwork.
A little slow as far as story progression goes, but the end is one of the most powerful scenes in the series.
It‘s Saga, so what can I say…. This poor family. Will they ever find peace and stability?!?
Final finish for #20in4 and another #SeriesLove2023
I still MUCH prefer the volumes that end on a happier note, but the action and plotting continues to be breathlessly captivating, the art endlessly inventive and richly coloured, and when not graphic in sex and violence, incredibly adorable or hilarious.
Something about the amount of graphic violence, sex and nudity in each Saga volume that really makes the few truly adorable panels stand out!
I‘m loving this story! This is a fast paced graphic novel part sci-fi and fantasy. I‘m ready to dive into Vol 8 next. I can‘t recommend this enough!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This one…this one sucked me completely back in. The story and watching hazel have her first love. Everything in this one had me constantly intrigued as to what would happen next. I will say this one will have you bawling at the end. This was a gut-wrenching volume with all the feels and pain for our characters.
Ahhh this ending!! Okay I‘ve got the next one all lined up... but ahhh!!!!
Also I liked this quote :)
2019 faves and stats!
I read 103 books in 2019. As usual, I have trouble picking favourites, but here are a few of them. A lot of my faves turned out to be ebooks or library books.
Stats-wise, feeling pretty good. I did very well with reading women authors, and less well with reading diversely. Diversity will be my focus for 2020. Also reading owned, physical tbr books - I didn't succeed too well at that in 2019, compared to how many I added.
Out of all the things that I‘ve read in the series so far this is probably the hardest hitter for me 😭 #rightthereinthefeels
#owowow
Wow. Shit gets real and this one has all the feels. Sorry to sound like a Cliché Queen but this one is my favorite volume so far: Love, loss, friendship and hidden loyalties surface.
And yes, the drawing, inking and color palette are all on point and perfect.
SFF/Space Opera series; Not for the prudish.
#TheReadingRush : Read a book with a non-human main character
Brilliant as always, but this edition felt like something was missing.
Not sure if it's the loss of one of my favorite charterers that is influencing me, but this one felt notably darker too.
I‘m still enjoying this series. The last part of this volume hit hard. I may or may not have shed a tear.
1. Me & Ajax. Me & Wimpy
2. Best🤔 Saga vol 7
3. Well, chill night tonight-home alone. Tomorrow is market, Etsy market with mom, then who knows. Sunday is 🤷♀️ chill? More caretaking plants perhaps?🌿🌱🌵
4. Today was grey with some rain. Getting a teency bit warmer.
5. Pizza and cider. (And chocolate for dessert)🙌

Wow. Don't mind me, just over here 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Damn. That shit got dark. If the earlier quote didn't tip anyone off...I have to agree with the ending sentiment of this volume though; relationships that end before they begin are the hardest to understand.
😥😥😥
Oof, that seems cynical.
Do we agree or disagree?🤔

I love Saga. I love The Will.
By the way, did I mention....
I LOVE SAGA!!!!!!!!! 🤪😱😜🤪😱😜🤪😱😜🤪😱😜
Another fantastic installment! I'm excited about Gwendolyn's wife, Petrichor being a grumpy badass, and sweet new characters like Kurti! There were also some sad character deaths! ? Staples's art continues to be majestic. "I've had lots of relationships in my time, but the I think about most are those that never quite made it to term...One moment the universe presents you with this amazing opportunity for new possibilities...and then..." #Comics
Decided since I wasn‘t having luck reading chunksters lately I would pick up something a little lighter. Been flying through these. Loving them so far.
There's this heartbreaking bit in X-FACTOR where Siryn's dad dies and she can't even acknowledge it for like 50 issues because she knows how this works. He's an X-Man. They never stay dead.
Except he does, and when it finally hits her it's devastating.
I was like that with Izabel's second death, except I KNEW the pain was just delayed because this ain't that sort of comic. And it hit last night.
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
It‘s been a long day at the hospital, a long week in general and its going to be a long weekend of studying ahead! So...for tonight I‘m relaxing and having some ME time! I‘m going to finish these up and cuddle up with a warm blanket! Perfect on a rainy dreary night! Happy Friday #LitsyFamily! What are you reading tonight?
I‘m on a bit of comics/graphic novel kick at the moment, which involved some Saga reading. I‘m always surprised by how much I enjoy these, and the artwork is, as always, stunning 👌
ATTENTION ALL SAGA FANS! Hot Topic has a very limited number of summer convention exclusive Pop Funkos available on their website this morning. Besides this super adorable flocked Ghus, they have a bunch of other con exclusives. They are selling out fast!
I've waited weeks for my library hold and I was not only not emotionally ready... I wasn't ready for anything this book threw at me.
June was a pretty good reading month. Read more than I thought considering I worked a lot of it. My fave books were Saga Volume 7 and crown of Midnight.
This series is still amazing. Next up: Volume 8 and also The Ask and the Answer by Patrick Ness. This is my reading spot this morning on a tucked away little island in the San Juans. One I‘ve never been to before. Beautiful view of the sound in the distance. Could not ask for better...
Loving this series so much. The story is brilliant and the graphics are incredible. I almost don't want to read the next one as it's the last one so far anyway.
Another emotional ending in this series - love the extended family and all the supporting characters in this world. Starting #8 which will get me up to date and force me to wait for the next volume...sigh.
I had try my hardest not to cry in public at the end of this.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Here is my #freecomicbookday haul, plus Saga Vol. 7. They didn‘t have Vol. 8 on the shelf.
Further proof that Litsy people are the best people: @TricksyTails sent me an Izabel!!!!! She was the Saga Funko Pop I wanted the very most, but my local Hot Topic sold out of her.
She now lives beside Alana and Marko, of course, but I wanted to get her picture with the ADORABLE YOGURT PERSON and teensy Sabretooth that were also in the package.
Thank you sooooo much, @TricksyTails ! Week = made.
I‘m not obsessed with Saga or anything....I just needs these

1. The cherry trees are starting to bloom on the college campus where I work. Can‘t wait for when the magnolias come out.
2. Saga Vol 7 - Determined to get caught up with this amazing series yet.
