Wolf by Wolf: Blood for Blood | 
pickWolf by Wolf was action packed and entertaining but I loved its sequel even more. Yael and an unlikely group of allies fight to maintain the momentum of the resistance which means going back to the source of the project that made her. Delving deeper into the characters‘ pasts and motivations while still maintaining the action makes Blood for Blood a richer reading experience. A satisfying conclusion to an excellent duology!

However, the Hitler Yael killed was not really Hitler and she has now killed someone similar to herself – another skinshifter. Felix, Adele‘s sister, and Luka, the love interest, are also with her since they are running from the SS. So far, Yael has escaped from the SS with Felix and Luka and finds someone from her past. The resistance is making progress and Yael is fighting to keep her humanity.

pickIn Wolf by Wolf, a young woman with a unique ability is participating in a Germany to Tokyo motorcycle race to complete a specific mission in this 1955 world in which Hitler won and still rules. This follow up starts immediately after the first book and is possibly even more thrilling. Both are griping, interesting, well-written. I look forward to reading more from this author.
pickSo glad I finally got around to reading this and finishing this duology it was really a great series with such a bittersweet ending and I definitely recommend it!

This story continues where it ended in Wolf by Wolf. Yael is trying to survive a world where Hitler won. She joined the resistance and her mission is to assassinate Hitler.
This story was packed with action and even itty bitty romance. I loved all the characters and the writing was so good.

pickDefinitely been on a WWII kick.. and this is a very good fiction/some what historical figures in it, definitely worth the read if you like some war action mixed with a little sci-fi and fiction..also...plot twist..also sad plot twist... but wooorth the read.

pickIt took me a while to get around to the second book in this series, but I really am glad I did. I might have liked it more then the first one, actually.
3. Best Sequel You Read
I think this is the only sequel I read that wasn‘t the 3rd in a series. This duology doesn‘t seem to be very well-known, but I thought it was above average YA. The premise is pretty unique and the main character is well-developed.

Just devoured the sequel to Wolf by Wolf! This book was just as good as the first with a seriously bad-ass girl protagonist and a great slow-burn romance!

pickA thrilling, alt-history YA duology. I enjoyed the second book in this series, which ups the stakes and has a few good twists. Although I found the resolution to be slightly rushed, overall the plot was exciting and the characters engaging. Yael's "strong female character" checked a lot of YA boxes, but (thankfully) didn't sink too far into cliche. Recommend for fans of The Man in the High Castle, Hunger Games, and Red Rising.
pickAn amazing series on audio- I highly recommend the first and second book. Full of alternate history with sci fi elements and plenty of romance, Blood for Blood is a thrilling ride and an amazing story.

pickThese books are great. The first one felt more action-adventure (motorcycle race through exotic locations complete with betrayals and hijinks). 'Blood for Blood' felt more like a 'war book/Holocaust story'. Be prepared: it will make you cry. The ending was beautifully written.
pickI really enjoyed this book and the first in the series, Wolf by Wolf. I think they would make excellent, exciting movies. Really feeling the theme of "tough women fighting for what's right". Perfect for 2017.

pickActually, I finished this last night, but sleep. Really great! The ending was bittersweet. Anything in my opinion that brings to light the atrocities of the Nazis, even in a fictional way, is good.

pickJust finished this with a few hours to go in the #24in48 readathon. It was such a good follow-up to Wolf by Wolf and had me on the edge of my seat, especially during the last half - such a good pick for a readathon!
pickI finished this one last night and fell asleep before I could post a review 😝. I can't recommend these two books enough. It's a mix of alternate history, action, with a touch of sci-fi and it will definitely keep you hooked. Both books have been book club picks, Blood for Blood being our January pick, and I can't wait to discuss! Now to go make breakfast and start this readathon! #24in48
so-soUgh. I needed to read this to find out how this duology wrapped up. Note to future writers. There should never be a romance between a death camp survivor and a golden boy of the Third Reich. You can justify and try and delve into the boy's background but it's still too many shades of ick.
Got my job back, yay! (and some sad/exciting news I hope pans out in my favor) But. Got out early so I'm having a celebratory coffee and starting my last library book before I can head home.
