Entertaining. Read it in two days. Really made me hate that husband!

This one sucked me in once it got going! Amber, a girl who came from nothing wants Daphne Parrish‘s life and will stop at nothing until she gets it. Perfection is not what it always appears to be. Once this book gets going it‘s hard to put down. I‘ll definitely be reading the sequel 😀
I don‘t know how I‘ve managed to go this long without reading this book. It dragged me in and didn‘t let go until the very end. I will definitely be reading the sequel because I have to find out what the heck is going to happen next.
This was a re-read for me to prepare for the sequel (up next!). I loved it the second time just as much as the first time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Oh my goodness! This book! Just totally insane and I loved it! Definitely some twists and turns and eager for the sequel coming out next month! This was the mystery/thriller book club selection for June that I‘m in! If you love thrillers with twists this is for you! I would give trigger warnings, but I feel like they would spoil some of the twists so I‘m torn! But this one‘s been out long enough, you can find what happens in it!
1️⃣1️⃣ Oh wow I loved this one, go Daphne! Another great Reese‘s Book Club pick, they never fail me.
I finally finished a book! This month has been a very slow reading month thanks to a funky reading slump but I finished The Last Mrs. Parrish the other night and let me tell you it shook me to the core. This book kept me on the edge of my seat and it made me angry all at the same time. But trust me that‘s the point. These characters are some of the most dislikable characters that I‘ve come across and somehow that made me like the story even more.

“Amber needed order-disciplined, structured order. And now, finally, she was the master of her world. And of her world. And of her fate.”
Amber is the stalker side of secret admiration in a novel of crafty twists and turns…😱
What a great reading month! I enjoyed all except, The Last Housewife, which really wasn't for me.
The Last Girls Standing & The Last Mrs. Parrish were my faves. Also, just now realizing that half the books I read this month were titled "The Last ____" ?
Amber Patterson was tired of being invisible.
#FirstLineFridays
Hoping to finish this one over the weekend. What a wild ride! I love the first line, but then there's a huge shift halfway through that hooked me all over again!
Ok, thanks to my cousin for giving me this book. I‘ve met my new favorite author! The cunning that is this book. The strong characters, the plot twists… I‘m telling you, you should be reading this. I know I‘m gonna get all of Liv Constantine‘s books from now on!
This one‘s been on my TBR for ages! But when a friend couldn‘t stop talking about it, I knew I had to listen to it sooner rather than wait any longer! I really enjoyed listening to this one! Constantine perfectly builds Amber into a character where you can‘t wait to see her get exactly what she‘s wished for! And while Daphne‘s role was easy to see coming, it didn‘t detract from the fun of listening! Great audio performances, too! A fun & fast one!
This was a fun, quick read. Very, very predictable—you can see what‘s going on immediately—but very satisfying.

It was interesting and twisted 😳 enough to keep me turning pages, but….. not my favorite. Just seems like a trope that‘s been written over and over again and wasn‘t super original. Trigger warnings for all kinds of things, so reader beware 🫣
Predictable with similar story line to The House Maid. Overall, I enjoyed it. I would read something else from the duo that is Liv Constantine.

This book had so few redeeming factors. Part 1 was miserable, Part 2 was so over the top, Part 3 was entirely expected. Lacks nuance & nothing new was achieved here.
I‘m so happy because I finally got to the perspective switch, and I don‘t know if that‘s a spoiler but if I hadn‘t known from other reviews, I would have DNFd this 150 pages ago because Amber is f!$king miserable. Anyway. Hoping for the payoff in the next half 😂

Revenge was never served so deliciously cold. I loved this book. Absolutely to recommend.
This was fine. It took a looong time to get going and then was a little predictable but an easy read.
This one is a solid 7/10. Not what you‘d expect and very satisfying. Quality characters and excellent plot. Good suspense if you‘re into the lives of the rich and famous
I‘ve had this on my shelf for years so I‘m glad I read it! It was solid, with some good reversals and surprises. Some of the content was disturbing to read and none of the characters were that sympathetic, which for me meant I didn‘t love it as much as some other thrillers. But still an engaging read!
Did y‘all know there is going to be a sequel?!?! I‘m excited!!
Just started this one ! What do people think ?! I‘ve heard great things about it ! Let‘s see how long it takes me
As we start the second half of the year, I thought I would look at my #BookSpin & #DoubleSpin progress for the first half.
I have February‘s #BookSpin & #DoubleSpin books and June‘s #DoubleSpin book to read. I will carry them over to future #BookSpinBingo lists.
Where do I even start? This had been on my TBR since it was released in 2017. I considered a DNF many times during the first 50% of this book because nothing was actually happening. When it changed to Daphne's perspective I ate it up.
Many times, I had to set the book down because of how disgusting it was. There are some characters that my heart cannot stand because I hate them so much. Adding Jackson Parrish to the list.
3 stars, maybe.

This one started off slow and I wasn‘t sure about it but once it got going I couldn‘t stop listening. A dark psychological thriller about a woman who wants another woman‘s life. Good twists and plot which kept me entertained for hours
This was a miss from me but I recognize that my own reaction played a big part. The first half describes infidelity in a supposedly ‘perfect‘ marriage which seemed unbelievable and I was ready to DNF. However, there was a twist in the middle which I didn‘t see coming (impressive) and that kept me reading to the end. The plot was actually quite clever but not completely believable. Just not for me.⭐️⭐️ #bookspin

The Last Mrs Parrish is a juicy, and addictive psychological thriller. Amber Patterson becomes friends with Daphne Parrish. Amber is envious of Daphne's life of money and power. Her husband, Jackson, is a real-estate mogul and everyone in the town of Bishops Harbor, Connecticut, thinks their life is straight out of a fairy tale. But all is not as it seems as Jackson is an abuser and a manipulator.
I loved the ending so much!! If you like psychological dramas, this is a great choice.
Jackson infuriates me!!! I hope karma catches up with him!! I‘ve been in a similar situation, but not to this extent 🤬🤬🤬 thank goodness I‘m free of that!!
