Unfortunately, have to pick this one back up again 😭
Picked up a fun read for the upcoming Tgiving break

I really, really enjoyed and recommend this book. It‘s not just about substance addiction but how we can all be addicted to something- success, control, affection. I think anyone can get something from this book 🙏
This month‘s spiritual direction read. I‘m way more into it than I thought I would be. We all can be addicted to something- control, success, relationships- and the author makes a great case for this.
As a spiritual person, I definitely agree and enjoyed some of the points that were made. The writing is a little almost too (excuse the pun) flowery at times for my taste. I wanted a little bit more historical reflection and less superfluous verbiage if that makes any sense
Best book view? 🍷🏔️
Last days of summer
First book of the second year of my program..
It took me two summers but finally finished! Now I need the next one, but I think that she needs to finish writing it first 😂
This one took me a while to get into but once I did it took me there and even had a twist that I didn‘t see coming. It is different, but would recommend.
When it‘s too hot to read outside…I love this library 🙌
Such an important work. I think even the non Christian should read this as it is more about our history with racism and the realities of the underprivileged more so than living a distinctly Christian life.
I finished this to see where it was going but it didn‘t go anywhere good. No real arc for characters. It was pretty grotesque for me. Luckily it was a fast read.
Hold just came in PLUS Taylor‘s new album? Not a good weekend for the boys out here 😂
Got this as an easy poolside Spring Break read and it didn‘t disappoint! Some eye roll predictable points but also some unexpected additions which made this easy to read.
I enjoyed this one almost as much as I enjoyed the first two books. It kind of lost me at the end as I felt it moved too quickly too suddenly
Loving my three day weekend! 🍷
One of the perks of being a teacher…getting to check out books from our library!
January beach getaway 😊😎
I‘m a fan of these books. Some are better than others but this one was a good one and another easy read! Easy summer book and she always leaves a cliffhanger!
I am cruising along finishing all the books I‘ve started this year- that‘s what summer is for! I‘m biased since I teach Scripture, but I really enjoyed this book. I appreciated his perspectives and found myself being reaffirmed in my faith a little bit 😊 recommend for believers and non believers alike!
Finally finished this one! I had to keep putting it on hold at the library. It had ebbs and flows for me, but I love the way everything was tied up at the end.
I need to finish a book before I keep getting new ones 🙈
First days of summer and summer reading 😎
Got this from a friend today…we will see how it goes!
New library book came in! 🙌
I appreciated her writing style and enjoyed some essays more than others…maybe I wasn‘t in the right place to enjoy this book as much as I could have.
I‘ve read a couple other of her novels. Finally time to check out this.
I thought this was cute! As a plus sized woman, I could relate and I liked the way the author cuts between the characters narrative and viewers watching the “show”. Fun and easy quick read
This was fine. It took a looong time to get going and then was a little predictable but an easy read.
This one took a while for me to get into and then once I did, it didn‘t exactly take me where I wanted to go, but I suppose that I still enjoyed the read
I loved hearing Molly‘s story (especially since she is also from Cleveland 😉). She was able to turn trauma and heartbreak into positivity and she has such a unique, beautiful story to tell!
I got into this one almost as much as the first three but didn‘t like the turn it took at the end 🤷♀️still kept me in suspense, though, and is a fun, easy read
Another library read! I read her trilogy and excited to dive into this
I was really into this and then I didn‘t love where it went, but still very readable and I wanted to know the end even if I didn‘t love the turns it took
New library read! School is back in session, but not ready to slow my reading roll yet! 😂📚
I really enjoyed and recommend this book. You follow the main character through heartbreaking and heartwarming moments and get a glimpse of history that many of us aren‘t aware of or think about. I definitely teared up at the end. 🥲
