Laura, Scotland 👩🏻‍🦰 Trying to train myself to read one book at a time rather than having four on rotation! 📚

2️⃣5️⃣ This was much better than the first book in the series. I preferred the couple and there was chemistry. This one has made me want to visit the east coast!

2️⃣4️⃣ Drinking a pumpkin spice latte and reading this on my kindle 🍁 🎃 As a Gilmore Girls fan I‘m sad to say that I don‘t know what all the fuss was about with this book. I didn‘t really buy the chemistry between these 2 and nothing really happened, but a light and inoffensive read all the same. I read that book 2 is better, so I gave it a go and agree it far exceeds this one.

2️⃣3️⃣ Saturday night with Mai Tai tinnies 😂and a book 🎊 Interesting to read a book from a male‘s perspective for a change! Not my favourite by Dolly Alderton but still I would recommend this to a friend and have already passed it on.

2️⃣1️⃣ 2nd book of this series. I preferred the characters in this one, and although it was very similar to the first in the series, it was a nice read and reminded me a lot of a Hallmark movie plot. Easy reading and would recommend.

1️⃣4️⃣ Reading outside for the first time this year ☀️ 📕 I made really slow progress through this one, the ending did wrap things up nicely but can‘t say I loved this book.

1️⃣3️⃣ chilled mornings on annual leave, I went to a Lisa Jewellery event earlier this year and heard her talk about this book, hooked on it already! - Loved this all the way though but felt like the ending let it down a little. Still a great read but I was expecting more, perhaps I am becoming immune to psychological thrillers 😂

🔟 Struggled to get through this as I felt it was quite slow and I wasn‘t really that bonded to any of the characters! I had visited the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge and had read about the Titanic Orphans there, an incredible story really but I felt it took a lonnnng time to get to it.

5️⃣ My favourite musician as a teenager (and probably still now). I‘ve read a lot of what has been written about him over the years, so I‘m interested to read the story of his life told by him (via a ghost writer)

4️⃣I haven‘t read anything by Jojo Moyes in years, looking forward to this! - There was a lot going on in this book. I liked the characters and the story, and I was rooting for the librarians. My only complaint - I felt it was a bit long winded. It also got me back into historical fiction, so I‘m excited to read more in this genre.

3️⃣ I saw this was recommended on Goodreads so giving it a go. Update - A good mystery and I liked Molly, but I felt the ending was a bit of a let down, and didn‘t live up to the other twists in the story. I would still read more by this author though.

2️⃣ Finished this one in a couple of days, I can‘t believe what Britney‘s family did to her. Loved that we got a sense of her sense of humour. To start with I was a bit on the fence about this book, the style wasn‘t what I expected. But actually, having raced through it, I would recommend this book to my friends.

My second time trying this one, just lost momentum the last time I tried to read it. I loved Next Year in Havana, so I‘m sure I‘ll enjoy this too.

marleed I‘m an auto read on Cleeton books and this was my only ‘meh‘ - and a preorder at that! The descriptions of just how tough life is because I‘m just so beautiful drove me crazy. But I think the author heard those complaints because her subsequent don‘t overplay the beauty of her characters. 1y

Hardly been reading recently, trying to get back into it with this one! Enjoyed this one, but did have to google the ending as wasn‘t really sure how to take it, maybe I‘m just being dim or lacking imagination, but I do prefer endings to be unambiguous rather than open to interpretation. Will read more from Celeste though.

7️⃣ I loved Daisy Jones and Evelyn Hugo, both by TJR, so far this one doesn‘t feel as dramatic as Evelyn Hugo but I do care about the main character and I am interested to see how things turn out. 1️⃣ & 2️⃣ - My first two reads of 2022, some light relief getting me through a stressful January at work. I really enjoy the Chesapeake series, the novels are pretty heartwarming and easy to read, I enjoyed Driftwood more than Moonlight Cove, think I might have read too many of these in the past year so probably need a break, found Moonlight a bit cheesy!
