Friday was a hard day teaching. I had two seniors pick up their bags and just leave. Very disrespectful and a little hurt because I care too much, but still have to muscle through one more week. A little retail therapy did help. I just need some words of encouragement, prayers, and good vibes my way if you have a chance. 💛

pickPossibly an odd take — I liked this better than the first book. I really felt like we got to know the characters better, and that they had more depth than in the first book. The book-led scavenger hunt is a cute premise, and was an interesting way to get the two mains interacting. Another cute read for the holidays!

Book 2 had a bit more 🌶️🌶️ than the first. Still a fun, light read and exactly what I needed last week.

pickIt's cozy reads season, and this series is perfect for this time of year. You've got small town, opposites attract, and he falls first, all combined for Hazel and Noah's story. The "mystery" is low stakes, allowing the couple to get to know each other as their relationship grows. Of course, you have some spicy love scenes and a HEA to make you smile. Plus, for us bookish women, who doesn't like seeing themselves reflected in a steamy romance.
Book two was just delivered! Adding this one and the first one to my Fall/Halloween TBR list. It works out perfectly because the third book is Christmas themed!
pickAnother perfect story in Dream Harbor. I think I liked this one more than the first because there‘s a lot of similarities between me & Hazel. Like Hazel, as I approach my 30s I worry I‘ll regret how I spent my time. Unlike me Hazel decides to do something about it. Hazel & Noah decide to have a summer of fun before her 30th birthday. Noah is a total cinnamon roll book boyfriend. This was seriously just a fun & cute read.
