Twisty! I did not want to put this down. It was the perfect balance of brain candy & puzzle to wind up what is always a fatiguing spring semester.

The title is odd and a bit misleading. And the end, well one needs to go into thrillers with a strictly entertainment mindset.

This was a lot of fun! A dark and twisty serial killer story. I thought I had it figured but I was wrong 🤷🏻‍♀️ Anytime I wasn‘t reading, I was thinking about the story. And whenever I was reading, the pages turned fast. I definitely want to read more by Hillier.

The Author‘s Note in the back of the book mentions that Hillier‘s other books are standalones set in the same fictional world with a few crossover characters-sounds fun!

An eclectic mix of books this week. A thriller, A literary novel, a horror/ true crime and a historical fantasy! It felt good to stir things up a bit.
This weeks favorite is Six Stories.

I‘ve been stalking the mailbox all day waiting for this to arrive. Anna Novella on book tube raved - apparently it‘s jaw dropping! 😲 I‘m going to dive in. 🤞🏾

Oh my goodness! This book! Just totally insane and I loved it! Definitely some twists and turns and eager for the sequel coming out next month! This was the mystery/thriller book club selection for June that I‘m in! If you love thrillers with twists this is for you! I would give trigger warnings, but I feel like they would spoil some of the twists so I‘m torn! But this one‘s been out long enough, you can find what happens in it!

I started listening to this earlier today and it grabbed me right away. I think I‘ll fly thru it if it continues to be twisty and dark.

January LaVoy is narrating and she is fantastic.

What I love about this author is that no matter how much you think you figure things out, you're always proven wrong. So much so, in fact, that I think this one gave me whiplash! And that epilogue... Brrrr. It gave me legit chills all over!

Side note: Leslie Howard did, yet again, a fantastic job narrating this #audiobook.
