Now that I am on holiday break, I can now continue reading without delay the last collection of Sherlock Holmes short stories, The Case Book of Sherlock Holmes. "The game is afoot, Watson."?️‍♂️

Just started reading The Hound of the Baskervilles this evening before bed.

This was a steal - 9 books in one collection! All the Holmes novels AND short story collections. If you find a deal on it, take it.
Hard to review, because there was so much.
But I will say I was surprised at how American some stories were. The first, A Study in Scarlet, is as much a Western as it is an iconic British mystery.
A must-read if you‘re a fan of the mystery genre.

I have a confession!!! I love the Robert Downey Sherlock Movies. I love the BBC Benedict Cumberbatch series and Love Elementary. I have never read ANY of the actual stories!!! I have the tagged Volume 2 of the short stories, it‘s on my TBR! This year I will read it! #confessionsofareader

I'm down to four Sherlock stories! And I think I'm to the point where I'm just gonna finish this. It's been a rough day and I really wanted a drink. All I had on hand was grapefruit juice so I added a little vodka and I'm good to go!

Two of my favorite author! I've read A Study In Scarlet, a story that started it all, of how Watson met Sherlock Holmes in the first place! Brilliant and witty all at the same time and reminded me of the Brilliant #BBCSherlocks the TV series stared #BenedictCumberbatch & #MartinFreeman Did you like the movie or TV adaptation? Cant wait to start #HardTimes

I'd say John Watson is a #Huffelpuff, no matter in which reincarnation.

9 months in July, and Kaysen Emory is Sherlock Holmes! She has the deerstalker hat, magnifying glass, and pipe, the address plaque, chemistry set, and for 2 of the adventures: the Hound of Baskervilles and some pearls. She looks so sweet! =)
