pickSo, this was a reread for me. A college me favorite. Holds up. A little dated in terms of what YA used to be, but back then, YA was actually written for teenagers. The ending is just so… *chefs kiss* Also, first book of the year.

pick4.6⭐️ All I can say is my heart… I wasn‘t expecting that, and left me a little sad. I love the book, and I‘m loving this series, but this shit broke my heart. I‘m also using the graphic novel cover, but I didn‘t read the graphic novel I read the book.

pick5/5 for this one! I loved this second book. Rose is still just as awesome! She is learning and growing. I‘m interested to see more about Spirit and see where this series goes. I will definitely be reading the next one.
pickThis one was a bit tough at the end, it drove me crazy that I couldn‘t quite remember the thing while I was reading so I wasn‘t as prepared as I could have been.

pickOh, Rose. She starts off so mature, even suggesting that Dimitri work for Christian's aunt. She is focused on being a guardian, and trying a relationship with Mason... and then she spills a secret that Dimitri trusted her with... which leads to death.
I'm really hoping I fall in love with these characters in the second Vampire Academy book.

pick2nd time around and I cried once more! Absolutely loved this entire series and I'm falling in love with it all over again!
87% in to my re-read... I've decided I'm not just going to re-read this whole series, I'm also going to re-read Bloodlines! Can't believe an accidental re-read has excited me this much ❤

pick⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Oh my god. WHY DIDN‘T I GET INTO THIS SERIES SOONER?!?!? I really liked that Rose was headstrong, but wasn‘t written as a 23 year old in a 17 year old‘s body - that she struggled with more “human” things like feeling like her best friend was leaving her, that she was being labelled as too young and immature. The writing is just as incredible as the first book, and I don‘t know how, but it was more addicting than the first.
You can't force love, I realized. It's there or it isn't. If it's not there, you've got to be able to admit it. If it is there, you've got to do whatever it takes to protect the ones you love.

Shopping for the new apartment and I‘m in the hell that is Bed Bath & Beyond. Already I‘ve had my cart stolen, used a bathroom scented by dog odor eliminators, had some lounge on my cart while waiting in line behind me, and seen/heard a baby stroller with built in speakers. Time to read a book in line and try to ignore all the things. Trying this book.
Onto the second one now and must admit I'm enjoying this more and more as it goes on! Anyone who feels as though you did not enjoy the first book please reconsider as I have had countless people tell me it improves!
