I have one more day (ha —- get it?) for this month. Figured I‘d tackle my #SpanishAudio it‘s only about 2 1/2 hours so I can continue with my #20in4 goals too ( @Andrew65 )
It's a story of charles benetto a former baseball player and a failed salesman. He has got into drinking and wasn't invited in his daughters wedding coz he might creat a ruckus there. Now he wants to kill himself and in an attempt of doing he gets to spend a day with his dead mother who changes his perception of life. A heartwarming story.

And the next Mitch Albom book done!! This one was a tear jerker! Life is about the choices you make and nothing can replace the love of a mother! 🥰 highly recommend!!
Tw: depression, alcoholism, attempted suicide.
This book was fine, very mediocre. After a short lived pro-baseball career, Chick‘s personal, professional, and financial life slowly unravel until he finally attempts suicide. The book details the following hours where he sees his mother who has been dead for years and reminisces on the mistakes he made as a teen and young adult and details his broken family life. Easy to read, don‘t recommend.
I read The 5 people you meet in Heaven a few years ago and absolutely loved it, as did Tom, so he got us a few more books by this author. This was a good read and had a nice plot, but it felt really similar to the last story, so I guess I wasn‘t as ‘wow‘ed by it this time. I would still recommend for a quick, nice lil read
Oops I read this in one day! This book was a gift from my secret Santa she told me this was her fav book and I‘m so glad she shared it with me. Wow! I‘m still gathering my thoughts. I‘m emotional lol

What are you reading? 😊
I found this book on one of my mom‘s shelves with a note inside from the friend who gave it to her. Her friend wrote “I read this whole book in one night...cried a lot too. It hits close to home for me, I hope you can enjoy it.”
And although it took me two days instead of one night to read, I also cried for and related to the characters. I have to admit it‘s not what I expected, but I do absolutely recommend!
“But there‘s a story behind everything. How a picture got on a wall. How a scar got on your face. Sometimes the stories are simple, and sometimes they are hard and heartbreaking. But behind all your stories is always your mother‘s story, because hers is where yours begins.”
“What is it about childhood that never lets you go, even when you‘re so wrecked it‘s hard to believe you ever were a child?”
“One day spent with someone you love can change everything.”

I wish I had something more inspiring to say about this. A nice story about a son‘s relationship with his mother. Shows both the good and the bad. I read this in one sitting. It makes me want to be a better person. I didn‘t think it was as good as Tuesdays With Morrie.
“When death takes your mother it steals that word from you forever” ~ Mitch Albom
Beautifully poignant and thought provoking, this small gem packs a powerful message on love and forgiveness. A tender reminder to tell those you love how much you appreciate them as tomorrow‘s aren‘t guaranteed. Our mothers teach us everything except how to live without them. Mine passed away recently, and I‘ve been a bit lost. This was a gentle, soothing read.
But there's a story behind everything. How a picture got on a wall. How a scar got on your face. Sometimes the stories are simple and sometimes they are hard and heartbreaking. But behind all your stories is always your mother's story, because hers is where yours begins.
So this was my mother's story.
And mine
In Albom‘s typical simple but deep style, For One More Day is the story of a son spending one last day with his mother after she‘s gone. A tear-jerker, this is one of the books I recommend most often. Anyone who‘s ever thought #wishyouwerehere of a lost loved one will take something from this story. Recommended reading companion: box of tissues.

I lost my Mom in Oct. and this book pulled out so many emotions for me. Great book.
All that happens when your dreams come true is a slow, melting realization that it wasn't what you thought.

Took a break from my #screamathon stack to enjoy this little treasure on my #weekend #vacation. Albom‘s work is always touching and moving. 5/5 ⭐️
Mom lost three close relatives when she was between ages 13-20, her mother, brother, and grandfather. 😢From @Momreviews #momreviews
If I could spend one more day with a lost loved one it would no doubt be the #BestDayOfMyLife
I LOVED this book!!!!!
#GetMovin Day15
A novel about family and missed opportunities. When Chick Benetto tries to commit suicide, he wakes up in a world ‘between life and death‘ where he gets to spend one more day with his mother, who died eight years earlier. For Chick, it may or may not be the #bestdayofmylife , but he is determined to make peace with his past.

Today, I read this book from start to finish. It was a very powerful read, for a couple reasons I won‘t get into, but also because it‘s about spending one more day with a loved one who‘s passed. I wish every day I could spend one more day with my mom. Someday I‘ll see her again.
This book was a short, easy read. I didn‘t warm to any of the characters, apart from having some sympathy for the mother. I‘m not a spiritual person but liked the idea of having one more day with a loved one.
Ancora una volta Albom è riuscito a farmi sognare con una storia di vita straordinaria!
Just finished reading 'for one more day' by Mitch Albom. I absolutely loved it! Especially the ending. The ending makes the novel 1000x better! It is a beautifully written novel and the second novel that i have read by this author.(1st one was the five people you meet in heaven) I can now say for sure that i am Mitch Albom's fan and will definitely try to look for more of his books. It's a must-read!!!

This book made me cry so bad and I was reading it on the bus on my way to school. I loved it, still do, to be honest. It was well written and is definitely a great story. A freaking MUST READ.
Now, I'll be off to buy a copy as a graduation gift to myself soon (since I can't really buy the one I borrowed from the school library)
He is one of my fav author, so when I spotted this little gem in a nearby thrift store, I needed to get this. Guess what, inside there was the most sweetest #Bookmark #NYResolution #BookLove #HappyClappy
Mitch Albom is one of my favourite writers and his all his books are great, and this was no exception.
What would you do if you could spend one last day with a lost loved one? This book is described as a ghost story, but it's truly a story about a mother's love. It was a very quick read, but a beautiful story. I'm a huge fan of Mitch albom. I just love his stories because they are so relatable.
Starting a new book... Hoping it's as good as this beginning! Needed a light read, and love Mitch albom's other books I've read.
