I would probably give this book 3.5 stars. It was cute! And the cover is gorgeous. I hated some of the names (Flip and Nan) and a lot of the dialogue didn‘t seem to be how teenagers actually talk. But I still enjoyed it!

hopefully this book gets me back into my reading grind for the summer. the perfect summer book to read on the beach, i read it every year. just perfect for the hot weather. makes me so happy. READ IT THIS SUMMER

I love the writing style. I liked the story. No melodramatic crap just a cute story.

And that completes book 4 for #SuperSeptember, book 25 for #BookSpinBingo, and book 29 for the month. Happy to announce I‘m still crushing my goal of averaging 2 books per day. 👻

This books was super cute for a light YA read. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it, as YA isn‘t always for me.

Meh

A young adult romance that had a lot of heart WITHOUT the typical melodramatic teenage angst. I do recommend if you're looking for a lovely fluffy read these days. I found myself smiling a lot 😌

My Life Next Door was the perfect, easy novel to get me out of my reading slump! “A summer romance with depth” is an accurate review. Easy read, relatable characters, pleasant predictability (though the twist was NOT what I expected). Definitely the $1 I spent at the thrift store 😉

All my twenty something coworkers recommended this to me as being one of their favorite YAs.

Someone in my NextDoor app promoted books and reading (and then linked to the library) with the click-bait header: Check It Out 😂 So much better than the usual posts about bats and coyotes from the clueless folks who don‘t know that when a stray cat shows up on your deck you may as well name it, feed it and buy it a collar because it‘s no longer lost - that‘s your cat now!

Loved it, but very predictable. Sometimes you just need that in a book...

This was a fun summer read - I really liked Jase, the love interest. It was a little longer than it needed to be and some of the “important issues” were a bit over the top, but I still enjoyed it

It‘s a humid 90 degrees F here, and the heat makes Nina suuuper fussy. So we‘re retreated to my parents‘ partially finished basement, where it may not be pretty but at least it‘s cool!

Opened up this one tonight, seems to be good so far but we will see!

This book was very different then I thought it would be; my heart pounded, I freaked, and I sighed with happiness. The only thing I wish is that there was more closure at the end. I loved it!

Meh it wasn't my favorite. Too sappy and mostly just romance. The main character wasn't really likable to me. I did like the Garrets though. There was a twist but it came so late. Just overall nope.

My next read.. I've wanted this book for a while and received the opportunity to purchase it for $1.99 on Kindle daily deals.

This is a ya book I love about #yalove. However what I loved most about this book was not the romance (although i enjoyed that too) but the Garrett family. As a kid I wanted to be a Walton. I am drawn to big families and the Garretts were amazing- chaotic, hilarious and loving. Add in the menagerie living in their house and I was ready to be adopted. #17booklove

I love it when the book I'm reading has an unexpected Harry Potter reference!

After reading so many dark and twisted books lately I decided I needed a fluffy #palatecleanser. This is pretty cute and sweet so far. 💕 #feistyfeb

This book had me feeling so many different emotions! I was so caught off-guard by that plot twist. I loved the book overall, but some of the characters, namely Nan and Samantha near the end, got on my last nerve. But it was a great read and I really enjoyed it!

I waffled in between so-so and pick, ultimately deciding to go with pick. This was a fairly enjoyable light read, I just had problems with how long it took the main character to act. I'm looking forward to book two, and am hoping they resolve the Nan issue as they just kind of... left that.

One can only hope✨
