Woo hoo 🙌 My Bookdepository order just arrived 😁 Then it's just deciding which book to start with!

My brand new Kindle and my trusted 4 year old one 💙 I seriously cannot live without this device 😊 So when a friend went on a vacation to the States I seized the opportunity to buy a back up 🤓

I just started this one on audio ✌ Phoebe is very funny and charming but so far I'm a bit lost to be honest (currently listening to the chapter about hair). The african-american culture is just so different from the Icelandic/Scandinavian one. But I'm eager to learn and listen to more 😊

What a wonderful, wonderful book! Found it a bit slow in the beginning but then book grabs your heart and doesn't let go ❤ I listened to it on audio and the narration by Lin-Manuel Miranda is perfect 👌 I listened to it during driving and nearing the end I didn't want to step out of the car and stop listening even though I had reached my destination!

I am currently in a big reading slump 😞 Usually a juicy book or a good romance novel can get me out of it...but I'm not finding anything helpful right now! So I'm asking the Litsy community - any recommendation? 😊😊

Finally now that the crazyness - that preparing for Christmas is - is over I'm just going to lie in bed / on the couch all day long 😋 First up -> these two ! Hope you all are having a wonderful time 💙

So nice to be home and snuggling with this one!! ❤ During christmas time here in Iceland we have what is called "christmas-book-flood" - puplishers publish most of their books around this time and everyone gets a book as a christmas present ? After opening the gifts on christmas eve we cosy up and read our new books. So working in a bookstore during holiday season is pretty crazy - but so much fun ? #christmas #catsoflitsy

EXCITED! 😻 Just realized that this one is out early in hardcover 🤗 Since I loved both her previous books sooo much I think I won't be able to wait 19 days for the UK paperback...

A very hyped up book! Decided to check it out though so I'm currently listening to it on audio 😊 Slow paced but very enjoyable + the narration is fantastic 👍

I didn't realise until now that a lot of my favorite books were published in the 90's 💥 All quite different but fantastic!! 👌If you haven't read Wild Swans, I recommend it for #nonfictionnovember ....

I had to read the only Icelandic nobel laureate, Halldór Laxness, both in middle and high school. Well I'll just say that I don't recommend speed reading any of his work in 12 hours 🤓 No pleasure in that. I'll definitely give his most famous work, Independent People, another shot someday.

Even though this book has an amazing rating both on Amazon and Goodreads it just wasn't my cup of tea. I'm dnf-ing it at 27%. 😐 They can't all be winners!

I'm in mood for some romance and action tonight! 🤗 I haven't read J.R. Ward before and plan on breaking all the rules by starting on the 3rd book in the series 👮🤘 Here's to hoping I won't be too lost !

I just finished this chunk of a book. It was very addictive and so much better than the first one. Can't wait for the next one in the series 😻

My dear grandmother, who passed away last year, used to read an illustrated Heidi to me as a small child. I was heartbroken when that book got lost and haven't read the story since. But since buying this beautiful edition I can't wait for the right moment to read it again ❤
