A recent essay collection from the founder of NYRB Classics. Looks very interesting!
So happy to see that people are still doing #tuesdaytunes 🤘

Received in my @aardvarkbookclub box today. Have heard only rave reviews, which has me very intrigued. Will probably finish the ILT first. Loved My Heart is a Chainsaw.

I am all over the globe in Preston's latest essay collection: tracking a serial killer in Florence, discovery of human remains in the Himalayas, detailing the controversies surrounding one of the oldest skeletons unearthed in N America & in my favorite piece so far (link below) a plausible explanation for the Dyatlov Pass incident:

As all of my books are currently packed from my recent move, I went to B & N this afternoon to reread The Monkey in Skeleton Crew. While there I was happy to find the tagged book, recently reissued due to an adaptation. I've had my eye on it for awhile but copies have always been pretty expensive.

Watched last night. Deliciously unhinged. One of my favorite king adaptations. Not often that I rewatch a movie, but I'm seriously considering going to see this one again before it leaves theatres.
Current reads:
* 20 pages per day of Mansfield Park (it's wonderful reading Austen again, the nuances and the wit are one of the reasons I'm taking my time)
*2 essays per day in Preston's The Lost Tomb
*Starting dilouie's How to Make a Horror Movie & Survive
