Currently reading this which is basically the biography of a song. Rufus Wainwright‘s version is probably the one I‘ve heard the most. K.D. Lang‘s is my favorite.
Finished this yesterday. Enjoyed it and I'm a rather casual baseball fan so you don't need to be a rabid fan of the game to enjoy it.
From the chapter on stealing signs. Cracked me up.
The unwritten rule is don‘t play aggressively with a big lead but want exactly is s big lead?
This series is the audiobook version of comfort food for me. I love Lisette Lecat‘s narration.
Finished this. Ended in a cliffhanger as all in this series do. Read just enough of the beginning of the next book to see if my guess was correct. I‘ll enjoy this series.
I was due for spending some tome with the folks from St. Mary‘s. Such a fun series.
I grew up as a map geek and I‘m still in charge of navigating when we‘re on road trips so I enjoyed this one.
It turned out to me a nice afternoon for some patio reading.
#outdoors #readingoutside
Started the audio of this today. I‘m only about 40 minutes in and I have already literally LOL‘d multiple times. I know that David Tennant is playing Crowley in the upcoming TV adaptation and I am gleefully envisioning him as that character.
Finished listening to this today. Really enjoyed the story and Grover Gardner‘s narration
Started the s one about the wolves in Yellowstone on the recommendation of a LibraryThing friend. It‘s fascinating.
Really enjoyed this one. Need to get The Hubster to read it.
The perfect antidote to a string of murder mysteries. Love listening to Wodehouse.
Finished this today. So good even though a but gruesome in places. Can't wait the TV adaptation in June.
A little #audiopuzzling this evening while listening to Career of Evil. Started this book shop puzzle over the weekend
Also started this. My “fruit” title for the What‘s in a Name Challenge. I‘ve had it forever in my dreaded (where good books go to be forgotten)
Started this yesterday. My second Bryson after recently reading and enjoying A Walk in the Woods.
I liked parts of it but other parts not so much.
Doing some #audiopuzzling this afternoon. I worked from home today so I didn‘t get my usual commute and errand audiobook time. So now it‘s Career of Evil and another Wysocki puzzle.
This YA book about the 1918 Flu pandemic was recommended by @BethFishReads
It‘s good so far.
Reread the first volume of this comic series before starting Volume 2. Excellent story. Loving this.
Really enjoyed this. My first but definitely not my last Bryson.
Started this today. It‘s 18 hours long. I‘ll be listening for a while 🎧
Finished this today. Loved it. Started the next in the series.
#puzzle progress. I‘ve got three hours left in The Silkworm. #audiopuzzling
Started a new #puzzle yesterday. Today I‘m #audiopuzzling with The Silkworm until The Hubster gets home
Just requested this from the library. Highly recommended by a friend on LT.
Current audio. Need to finish this and the next one before the TV adaptation airs in the US in June.
Lunchtime reading today
Started this tonight. I'm hooked.
Just finished this. A brilliant graphic novel. Lemire has done it again.
Finished this the other day. Still thinking about it.
I have always described this series as Pulp Fiction takes Mr. Toad's Wild Ride through Florida. Serge Storms is off his meds and chaos ensues.
Started listening to this last night. So glad I also have the ebook because practically every other sentence is worth writing down.
Finished this yesterday. It was enjoyable just as I always expect from the audio editions of this series.
