I really like how in this series the current characters know about the previous “rakes” mentioned by the Brazen Belle. It makes the world connected and not feel like isolated stories. Though previous characters don‘t interact with each other.

Another story with a half Indian hero. (I previously read Siren of Sussex)

And I loved how his family was in trade and “new” money. Added another level to the story.

I finished up the Maitland Maiden‘s series via audiobook! Love how all three were read by the same narrator, Philip Battley!

This third book was adorable and sweet! 🥰 Got me to cry 😢

Everyone thinks his brother and her will get together. Even she fancies the brother. Though, she‘s come to see it‘s always been him she loves! The brother was just a friend. HEA and all turns out well! ❤️

Another wonderful sweet romance of second chances with past friends! An agreement is made to marry “for convenience” to help him save the farm and to ease her brother‘s mind that she found someone before he died. Of course their previous feelings resurfaced and they still loved one another 🥰

This year I‘ve been reading a lot of historical romances with one of the main characters being another nationality. I like the added layer of conflict this creates. And how it shows the characters rising above societal norms and pursuing their heart‘s desire.

I‘ll keep the other three books in the series on my TBR.

A delightful story of second chances and realizing what love 💗 truly is all about!

The heroine was in her 11th Season. And both she and the hero were 28. Two rare things to happen in a novel. But both details made the story unique!

My local Michigan #GDRW group has published a third anthology. This one is ten contemporary stories all with a SHOE in the story. Not the same shoe, but somehow involved.

This book was very good! It has three main POV, which helps move the story along. Though at times I wish the author wouldn‘t string me along by withholding information. I did guess two of the plot twists, while one took my by surprise.

I‘m very much looking forward to reading the second and final book of the series!

A local Michigan university is putting on this play. I‘m debating whether to go or not. It may not work out with my schedule.

Reading this craft book for GDRW book discussion coming up this week.

Glad I‘m reading it on Hoopla instead of buying the ebook, not really getting useful info out of it.

The author details steps to do before putting content out there. When I would have preferred to read about frequency of posts, graphics or just text, repost other authors stuff, and other online marketing items. More like a plan since I know my brand - pirates, Romance, P&P!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The romance 💝 was beautiful between Vicky and Tom. The stakes were high! And there were a couple twists I didn‘t see coming!
