Such a great second chance / grumpy sunshine romance. The dual narration and alternating present to past chapters kept me hooked throughout and has left me with the worst book hangover (and I mean that in the best way possible). I kept hearing a lot of hype for this book before release and it lives up to everything! Highly recommend this one! #audiobook #romance #secondchanceromance

Gen was the bad girl that everyone in town knows. There is a lot of drama, but you're constantly rooting for Gen to prove to everyone that she is a good person.

This was a fantastic love story that I highly suggest to all, especially those are a fan of Elle Kennedy!

Loved this one more than the first! Caro and Val are the perfect match for one another. The sharp #mystery is paired with a #secondchanceromance which is always my cup of tea and balanced so well. Mary Jane Wells is a wonderful narrator really capturing the individuality of each character. And Manda Collins leaves a few bread crumbs to lead readers into the next book. #historical #audiobook

I love a good second chance romance and this one pretty much says it all in the title but I love how #sajnipatel not only tackles love and relationships here but also family obligation and how much our culture/beliefs play into our own happiness. My biggest issue with this book is the pacing. The book dragged in parts, mainly in the beginning and middle. There wasn‘t a whole lot happening besides set up for future books in the series (i.e. relationship issues for Brandon‘s other siblings). Towards the end the book finally picked up speed and became more exciting.
