Bookwormjillk I do if I really like it. People who want to call others cheaters are kind of buzz kills in my opinion. It‘s a reading list not filing taxes for goodness sakes. 3y

dragondrool Of course I do. If it's a book, and I read it, it's fair game. For the record, I don't read to children. If I pick up a children's book, I'm more than likely reading it for me. Usually, the illustrations grab me. At our middle school library, we don't call the picture books, shelved with an E on the spine label, “Easy“ books. They're “Everybody“ books. 3y

IndoorDame I always do. I started recording them because I wanted to remember certain ones to read to my students the following year, but half the time I‘m reading them for myself and now I just recorded all of them. 3y

Roary47 I don‘t include them in my yearly book count, but I do give reviews for other parents or people looking to gift books for kids. I only really do it for ones I like, but want to do for all one day. 3y

Butterfinger If it is for a challenge I do. I do count my MG/YA books, maybe not picture books. Although, I am going to be posting a bunch of reviews for picture books later today for #BBRC. 3y

Horvendile88 Good question...personally, it is always contingent upon other factors such as how much time I have to read in the near future, what other books I have in my to-read queue, and whether or not I believe the book is worth pushing through. 3y

SassyBookworm I use my library‘s Libby app! I‘m a huge ebook reader and I can always suggest new book if they don‘t have one I‘d like to read. I‘ve found it saves a ton of space and money! 4y

LibrarianRyan I buy a lot of mine. And I work in a library. I boy books that I know libraries could use and then donate them when I am done. Mostly YA, MG, and manga. I leave audiobooks and a lot of graphic novels, picture books, and almost all adult (except sci0fi) to the library. Libraries around here are so strapped, that they buy what goes out, and that is usually not what I read. 4y

LazyOwl I'm consciously trying to buy books only if I think I'll read again, or someone in the household will read. Otherwise I borrow library books, both print and ebook. 4y

iread2much I love to buy books I am really excited about and think I will reread. I generally use the library in the city in (during normal times) for their kindle ebooks only. I don‘t use my library very often anymore, but I always make sure to vote yes for more library funding! 4y

MyNamesParadise I try to use the library as much as I can. However, there are certain authors that I love and will get their new books when they come out (even in hardcover, although I prefer paperback. If it‘s a new writer or I feel I can wait for the story, I get it from the library. Sometimes I‘m just in the mood to buy something and so I buy books! I own so many books though that‘s it‘s tricky! 4y
